The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allâh guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allâh sets forth parables for mankind, and Allâh is All-Knower of everything. As we search for light in our lives, we have to understand that Allah SWT’s One of the Most Beautiful Names is AL NOOR. His Light is Perfect, It illuminates the heavens and the earth, this is a tangible light, but what about hearts? This is the Light that Allah SWT wants you to concentrate on in the above ayah, you are born with this natural light in the form of fitrah, which is your natural disposition but then with time this light may become dim, but still it is there and this is the resemblance to the olive oil which shines though there is no fire, no additional effort to increase this Light. Subhanal Allah. Now Allah SWT is inviting you to increase this light with the light of the knowledge of the Qur’an, of the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW, the application of the Qur’an and Sunnah in the form of acts of obedience and good deeds which will increase your faith and thereby bring you closer to Allah SWT. This will result in light upon light and once your heart is filled Allah SWT Al Noor’s light, be sure, no one can misguide you and everything will become clearer to you. Then you will be able to see the truth as the truth and falsehood as falsehood. Your decisions will be based on the baseera, the insight resulting from Allah’s Light. Subhanal Allah. “O Allâh, place light in my heart, light in my tongue, light in my hearing, light in my sight, light behind me, light in front of me, light on my right, light on my left, light above me and light below me; place light in my sinew, in my flesh, in my blood, in my hair and in my skin; place light in my soul and make light abundant for me; make me light and grant me light.” This hadith was transmitted by Muslim.
Allah An Naseer ( – )النصيرThe Granter of Victory Introduction The heart cannot be happy, at rest or rich unless it remembers Allah ()ﷻ. To remember Allah ( )ﷻis a cure and remedy. Allah ( )ﷻhas all of the perfect qualities which we need. We learned the name of Allah Al Fattah – The Opener. Is it easier to go to doors and struggle to open them or be relaxed and go to the King of kings? Why are some opportunities closed for us? Because we’re depending on ourselves or others to open for it, and not in Allah ()ﷻ. Meaning in the language ()املعنى اللغوي: :()نصير is in the excessive form ()صيغة مبالغة, so Allah’s victory is not just once, but He’s always granting victory. 3
It comes from the word ( )نصرwhich means: The one who helps you overcome your enemies. It also means to be given good and to do good to another. When Allah ( )ﷻhelps you to defeat enemies, it’s for goodness, not for competition, or to enslave others, or to be arrogant. So the victory we’re talking about is a good victory. The victory which Allah ( )ﷻgrants is in order to do good to others, not humiliate them.
In life we’re struggling to be the best which is to be a slave of Allah ()ﷻ. With all that we’re going through, we need this name, we need Allah An Naseer to give us victory. We also need this name when challenged with people. We have people stopping us on the way to Allah ()ﷻ, we don’t need to fight, but turn to Allah An Naseer to give us victory in a peaceful and beautiful way. Allah ( )ﷻis the only source for victory and when He gives victory, it’s good ()خير الناصرين. We
The real victory is when you overcome your greatest enemy which is yourself. Victory is not about power or to control others.
might think we’re having victory and being successful but our manners are going downhill, this is not victory. Allah ( )ﷻgives good victory.

Allah An Naseer is the One Who shows you the result. Before we get any results there are struggles and challenges. We are all going through a battle inside and the outcome should be to become a better person. The name of Allah An Naseer shows you the results. All of our struggles are different according to our levels. For example, the struggle for someone in KG is different from someone in university. And Allah ( )ﷻtests us according to our level.
the Day when the witnesses will stand forth, (i.e. Day of Resurrection),—) The messengers were in a struggle with those who didn’t believe. In life, there is always a fight between truth and falsehood, but always there is victory for the believers and messengers. Surah 4

(2)Allah ( )ﷻgrants victory to the believer against his hidden enemies (ينصر املؤمن ضد األعداء )الداخلني: the two hidden enemies are our nafs and the shaitan. If our nafs is left alone then it wants evil, it doesn’t want what’s good. Our nafs is like a child and very fussy, if it doesn’t get what it wants then it cries. Our nafs doesn’t want to pray, our nafs doesn’t want to pray fajr, our nafs is quick to react, so whatever our weakness we need to ask Allah ( )ﷻto grant us victory. The nafs is a greater enemy than the shaitan. As soon as you say I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed shaitan) then the shaitan runs away. The shaitan’s plot is weak because he’s just giving ideas, but the nafs is implementing te ideas. Surah An Nisa’a 76:

The longest struggle was with Nuh (as) for 950 years, generations would come and they would disbelieve, but victory was given to Nuh (as) and the believers. The key for victory is belief in Allah ( )ﷻand the greater your faith, the greater the victory. Allah ( )ﷻwill give victory to the believers in the duniya and akhira. In the Battle of the Trench, the believers were surrounded from all sides in Medina. What did Allah ( )ﷻdo? He sent wind which made every-
In the Battle of Badr, the believers were few and the disbelievers were one thousand, so Allah ( )ﷻsent angels to support and fight with the believers. Allah ( )ﷻis able to do everything. (And none can know the hosts of your Lord but He) – even the disbelievers support Islam without know ing, subhan Allah.

The nafs and the shatain never separate from each other, and we need to ask Allah ( )ﷻto help us overcome our sicknesses of greed, envy, arrogance, pride, showing-off, etc. Allah ( )ﷻgives victory to the weak and oppressed ()ينصر املستضعفني: Allah ( )ﷻgives victory
Surah Ar Room 47: (ََص ُر ٱملۡ ُ ۡؤ ِم ِنني ۡ ) َوكَا َن حَ قًّا َع َليۡن َا ن (and (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them).) It’s a must on Allah ( )ﷻto grant victory to the believers. Wherever we may be, we need Allah ( )ﷻto give us victory.
to the oppressed regardless if they’re believers or not, even to animals. There was a lady who would pray and fast, but she oppressed a cat and entered the hellfire. A person cannot oppress anyone by not giving them their salary, or taking their land, etc. When you’re oppressed or someone has taken your rights, don’t go to so and so, but go to Allah ( )ﷻand He will grant you victory. Sometimes your husband might wrong you, don’t complain to your mother or friends, ask Allah An Naseer. Or it happens at work, ask 5

(3)Allah ( )ﷻgives victory to whomever He wills Give victory to the deen of Allah ()ﷻ, how? By and whenever He wills Allah ()ﷻ knows when is the best time to be given victory. The Prophet ( )ﷺwas given victory after 13 years and Nuh (as) was given victory after 950 years, subhan Allah. It’s important to believe that Allah ( )ﷻwill for sure give victory in the time He wills. Don’t say, ‘when will the victory come?’. Don’t say, ‘I’m always oppressed.’. When Allah ( )ﷻgives victory to whomever He wills, then no one can defeat or snatch it away. (If Allâh helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allâh (Alone) let believers put their trust.) When you believe in Allah An Naseer, He will give you the means to achieve victory. For example, the people of the elephant came to demolish the Ka’aba, and Allah ( )ﷻsent birds to destroy them. Victory doesn’t just come from the sky, but Allah ( )ﷻwill bring means to you. Surah An Nisa’a 45: (َصيرً۬ا ِ )وَٱهللَُّ أ َ ۡع َل ُم ِبأ َ ۡعدَآٮِٕ ُك ۚمۡ َو َكفَىٰ بِٱهللَِّ َولِيًّ۬ا َو َكفَىٰ بِٱهللَِّ ن (Allâh has full knowledge of your enemies, and Allâh is Sufficient as a Walî (Protector), and Allâh is Suffi cient as a Helper).

If you help (in the cause of) Allâh, He will help you, and make your foothold firm.) – so the key to victory is belief and application. Support your brothers and sisters in Islam. Narrated Anas (ra): Allah’s Messenger ( )ﷺsaid, “Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one. People asked, “O Allah’s Messen ger ( !)ﷺIt is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?” The Prophet ( )ﷺsaid, “By preventing him from op pressing others.”) - Sahih al-Bukhari 2444. Give victory to the oppressed. It’s clear for the oppressed but how for the oppressor? By advising him to stop from oppressing others. For example, if you see a child is hurting his sibling, then stop him. Be patient to reach victory. ()إن النصر مع الصبر (Verily victory is with patience) May Allah An Naseer grant us victory. Ameen.

ing the Truth. This man – the Seeker of Truth- is Salman Al Farsi (RA). In a hadith collected by Muslim, At-Tirmidhi, AnNasa`I, Abu Hurairah (RA) reported, “ We were sitting in the company of Allah’s Messenger when Suratul Jumu’ah was revealed. He recited, خرِي َن ِمن ْ ُه ْم ملَّ َا يَلْحَ قُوا ِب ِه ْم َو ُه َو ا ْل َعزِيزُ الْحَ كِي ُ م َ وَآ And He has sent him (Prophet Muhammad SAWS) also to others among them (Muslims) who have not yet joined them (but they will come). And He (Allah) is the All-Mighty, the AllWise. (Suratul Jumu’ah , ayah 3)
People, at times of deep contemplation and reflection, often wonder about their existence – What is my purpose, why am I here, where am I going? For some the purpose of life might be to acquire wealth, position and status. For some, it could be to have the best time they could, because they regard this life to be the only one and so should be enjoyed to the fullest! But some may realize that there is a higher purpose in life, that there is a reason for their existence, and so, wonder about their creation and Creator—Who is the true God? What is the road for salvation? This article is about such a man, who went out in search of the truth while he was living in the midst of darkness, a darkness of ignorance. He (RA) not only travelled great distances physically, from Iran to Medina, but also in belief from being a Magian (Zoroastrian) to a Christian to a Muslim. His (RA) journey was truly a journey of seek-
A person amongst us asked, ‘Who are those who have not joined us, O Allah's Messenger’ The Prophet (SAWS) did not reply until the question was repeated thrice. Salman Al Farsi (RA) was amongst us. So Allah's Messenger (SAWS) placed his hand on Salman (RA), saying, “By the One in Whose hand my soul is, if faith were on Ath-Thurayya (Pleiades), even then some men or a man from these people (i.e. Salman’s people) would surely attain it'' The story of Salman Al Farsi (RA) is a fascinating one, of how he came across the different religions in his search for the real one. What strikes from narration of his story is that he kept an open mind, he was ready to change or accept , he didn’t at any point blindly follow any one. He (RA) was the first Persian to have converted to Islam. He (RA) was originally named Ruzbeh, and was born into an affluent family in Jayy near Isfahan in Persia. His (RA) father was the town chief and a Zoroastrian priest who loved his only son a lot. Salman (RA) became custodian of the “holy fire,” which his people worshipped. But Salman was not satisfied with this religion. He narrates 7
his (RA) own story to Abdullah Ibn Abbas: “I was a Persian man, one of the people of Isbahaan, from a village thereof called Jayy. My father was the chieftain of his village, and I was the dearest of Allah’s (SWT) creation to him. He loved me so much that he kept me in his house near the fire, as girls are kept in. I strove hard in the Magian religion until I became the keeper of the fire, which I tended and did not let go out for a moment. My father had a huge garden, and he was busy one day with some construction work, so he said: “O my son, I am too busy with this building today, go and check my garden,” and he told me some of the things he wanted done. I went out, heading towards his garden, and I passed by one of the Christian churches, where I could hear their voices as they were praying. I did not know anything about the people because my father had kept me in his house. When I passed by and heard their voices, I entered upon them to see what they were doing. When I saw them, I was impressed with their prayer and I was attracted to their way. I said: “By Allah, this is better than the religion that we follow.” By Allah, I did not leave them until the sunset, and I forgot about my father’s garden and did not go there. I said to them: “Where did this religion originate?” They said: “In Syria.” Then I went back to my father, who had sent people out to look for me, and I had distracted him from all his work. When I came to him, he said: “O my son, where were you? Did I not ask you to do what I asked?” I said: “O my father, I passed by some people who were praying in a church of theirs, and I was impressed with what I saw of their religion. By Allah, I stayed with them until
the sunset.” He said: “O my son, there is nothing good in that religion. Your religion and the religion of your forefathers is better than that.” I said: “No, by Allah, it is better than our religion.” He was afraid for me, and he put fetters on my legs and kept me in his house. I sent word to the Christians saying: “If any Christian merchants come to you from Syria, tell me about them.” Some Christian merchants came to them from Syria, and they told me about them. I said to them: “When they have completed their business and want to go back to their own country, tell me about that.” So when they wanted to go back to their own country, they told me about that, and I threw off the irons from my legs and went out with them, until I came to Syria. When I reached Syria, I said: “Who is the best person in this religion?” They said: “The bishop in the church”. So I went to him and said: “I like this religion, and I would like to stay with you and serve you in your church and learn from you and pray with you.” He said: “Come in.” So I went in with him, but he was a bad man. He would command them and exhort them to give charity, but he kept a great deal of it for himself and did not give it to the poor; he had amassed seven chests of gold and silver. I hated him deeply when I saw what he was doing, then he died and the Christians gathered to bury him. I said to them: “This was a bad man; he commanded you and exhorted you to give charity, but when you brought it to him he kept it for himself and did not give any of it to the poor.” They said: “How do you know that? Show us where his treasure is.” So I showed them where it was and they brought out seven chests filled with gold and silver. When they saw that, they said: “By Allah, we will never bury him”; then they crucified him and pelted him 8
join him.” When he died and was buried, I went to the man in Mosul. …. The journey of Salman Al Farsi continues in the next issue.. Reported by `Abdullah bin `Abbas (RA): Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said that Allah, the Glorious, said: “He who intends to do a good deed but he does not do it, then Allah records it for him as a full good deed, but if he carries out his intention, then Allah the Exalted, writes it down for him as from ten to seven hundred folds, and even more. with stones. Then they brought another man and appointed him in his place. I have never seen a man who does not offer the five daily prayers who was better than him; he shunned this world and sought the Hereafter and no one strove harder than him night and day. I loved him as I had never loved anyone before, and I stayed with him for a while. Then when he was about to die, I said: “O So and so, I was with you and I loved you as I had never loved anyone before, and now the decree of Allah has come to you as you see; to whom do you advise me to go? What do you command me to do?” He said: “O my son, by Allah, I do not know of anyone today who follows what I followed. The people are doomed; they have changed and abandoned most of what they used to follow, except for a man in Mosul. He is so and so, and he follows what I used to follow, so go and
But if he intends to do an evil act and has not done it, then Allah writes it down with Him as a full good deed, but if he intends it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed.” [Bukhari & Muslim]
Reported by Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Seek refuge in Allah against the turmoils, attacks of misfortunes, and evil of judgment and joys of the enemies.” [Bukhari & Muslim] Allah is the only protector we ever need

SAYED AL KHATER-1
Beware of your eyes and heart from looking at the people
Allah (swt) made the people fitna for each other, how? People’s faults are a fitna for you and your fault’s are a fitna to others, for this reason you need to have patience. Allah (swt) says in Surah Al Furqan 20:
(And We have made some of you as a trial for others: will you have patience?) ()
Anyone who loves to be around people all the time is empty – he is trying to fill this emptiness through the people, subhan Allah. ▪
And when the heart becomes empty from being filled with truth, then this heart will be filled with the people. They are concerned about what they said, what they did, they laugh for the people, they cry for the people. Allah (swt) created your heart to worship
Time is the most honorable thing to have. Time is fleeing. ()
And what’s required of you is to grab the opportunities to do good. Look at your heart – what is your concern? What is bothering you? Are people bothering you? The purpose of your heart is for Allah (swt) – busy your heart with the truth. If it’s not busy with the truth, then it will be busy with the people, subhan Allah. ▪
The heart that is occupied with the people,
Because the heart that is filled with truth – with the Quran and Sunnah - will flee from the people. He doesn’t like to be around people all the time – he only likes to be around people for the truth, for what is right – for Friday congregation, for study circles, for eids, for sickness, for joining the kith and kin. A heart is either occupied or empty, and the empty heart is trying to be around people to fill that insecurity, subhan Allah. ▪

Then it will work for their sake – you will be a servant of anyone, subhan Allah. We are not created to be the servant of anyone, but of Allah (swt). If you are socializing too much and spending too much time with the people then your concern will be distracted. Why is our heart with the people? Because of spending too much time with them. Spending private time is better except when doing good, then you need to be around people. Socializing all the time will weaken your heart because you are disturbing your emotions, subhan Allah. You need to remember why are you meeting the people? If there is no benefit in the deen or duniya for you, then it will be meeting for the people’s sake. ▪

ple, but Allah (swt) wants to protect his heart, subhan Allah. This person is busy with the truth, and if people try to draw close to him, then some decree will happen to keep them away, subhan Allah. Why? Because Allah (swt) wants to purify both sides. Allah (swt) wants to protect the one busy with truth and He wants those who might get attached to that person to be attached to Allah (swt) alone. Allah (swt) wants our hearts to be occupied with Him and no one else. o
Allah (swt) might decree for the one who is busy with Him to say something that will keep the people away, or something is decreed for the other person to keep him away from the one who is busy with Allah (swt). Why? Because Allah (swt) doesn’t want any disturbance with His attachment and nearness. We are not saying to just sit at home and not associate with the people, but it’s about your heart. You want a good relation with everyone, for this reason have relations for the sake of Allah (swt), not for desire – then this will protect both sides. So don’t come close to people because of desire or magnification, otherwise Allah (swt) will change their condition to keep them away, subhan Allah. Don’t come close to anyone except for Allah’s sake. For this reason we ask Allah (swt) – (ال ˜ ˜˜لهم ان ˜˜ي اس ˜˜أل ˜˜ك ح ˜˜بك و ح ˜˜ب م ˜˜ن ي ˜˜حبك و ح ˜˜ب ع ˜˜مال ي ˜˜قرب ال˜ ˜˜ى ح˜ ˜˜بك.) And the reward of the Hereafter is better for those who believed and were fearing Allah. 12:57 Now Allah سبحانه وتعالىwants us to focus on the Herea2er. If you are a Muhsin, a good-doer, Allah سبحانه وتعالىwill establish you on earth, give you victory over your human enemies, and the shaitan and your soul. Allah سبحانه وتعالى will also reward you in the Herea2er; this reward will be the greatest. When Allah سبحانه وتعالىgives someone the blessings of dunya, they change, geAng busy with them. Don't lose sight of the fact that this is only dunya, a temporary phase. The reward of akhirah is greater than anything in dunya. The dunya is too insignificant to argue, dispute and complain about. The Messenger of Allah صلى اهلل عليه و سلمsaid:
The complete formula is: اإليمان+ التقوى Abstaining from the wrath of Allah سبحانه وتعالى+ belief with action. And the brothers of Yusuf came [seeking food], and they entered upon him; and he recognized them, but he was to them unknown. 12:58
55:26-27
Allah سبحانه وتعالىchooses from amongst His slaves, people to be prophets. Allah سبحانه وتعالىchose the Prophet Mohammad صلى اهلل عليه و سلمto be the seal of the prophets and messengers, because Allah knew he was the only one who could withstand the trials. Allah سبحانه وتعالى knew how Yusuf عليه السالمwould react to his trials. Allah سبحانه وتعالىcould have prevented the brothers from harming Yusuf عليه السالم, but that was إرادة اهلل, the planning of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. The trials were a way of nurturing and exalIng Yusuf عليه السالم, because He knew Yusuf عليه السالمwould emerge from his trials victorious and reformed. We can see the difference the nurturing in prison made to Yusuf عليه السالم. When he met the servant of the king whom he thought would be released, he told him to tell his master about Yusuf عليه السالم. But later, when the messenger of the king came to fetch him, Yusuf عليه السالم sent him back, refusing to go from prison unIl he was vindicated.
The believers are safe, their belief protects them. Even an atom of faith in the heart is salvaIon, and will result in its owner entering Jannah.
The names of Allah سبحانه وتعالىwhich are obvious in this surah are الرّب اللطيف.

السالمwith gentleness and kindness, leading to his success, honor and firmness. UnIl this point in the surah, the trials of Yusuf عليه السالم were all of hardship. Now begins the trials of victory. Earlier, he had no choice but to be paIent, closed in one Ight situaIon a2er another : in the well, in the house of the Aziz, in prison. But now the whole country of Egypt was wide open for him; he could come and go as he pleased. He had power and authority. Yusuf عليه السالم hardly spoke before this point in his life; he said very few words, when absolutely necessary. Now he has conversaIons with people. Allah سبحانه وتعالىgives recompense in dunya to those who are املحسنني, the ones who work in excellence. This is in lieu of glad Idings for the herea2er, to make the believer strong and firm, and moIvated to go forward. They are never the losers; they always profit in the trade with Allah سبحانه وتعالى. The drought which affected this region spread all the way to PalesIne. In the first seven years, the EgypIans planted excessively, and stored most of the grain. Then, in the next seven years, when the earth dried up, and the whole region starved, the EgypIans had food which they had stored earlier. The people in other counIes had money and wealth, but no food. They flocked to Egypt to barter for food. Ya'qub عليه السالمsent all his sons but the the youngest, Bin Yameen, the full brother of Yusuf عليه السالم. This seems to be the test for Ya'qub ;عليه السالمhe preferred some sons upon others, which created the jealousy in the first place. The brothers of Yusuf عليه السالمwere now desperate and needy. They took their wealth in the form of money and goods and le2 to barter for grains. The brother they had thrown in the well many years ago now had power. He was a minister, with the authority to decide who is given the food. Every one who came to trade for the food had to go to Yusuf عليه السالم, who then decided how much food each person deserved to be given. The brothers undertook the same journey that Yusuf عليه السالمtook as a child, to Egypt. They are given the Itle of the brothers of Yusuf عليه السالمto emphasize the fact that though they treated him badly, they remained his brothers.
Yusuf عليه السالمwas very approachable, even though he was the powerful minister. He recognized his brothers instantly. They had been young men when they threw him in the well, so their facial features hadn't changed much. When they last saw Yusuf عليه السالم, he was a baby, now he was a man. His appearance had changed completely, so they didn't recognize him. It also never occurred to them that this powerful and important minister, in charge of the crucial store of grain, was their baby brother Yusuf (AS), whom they had last seen many years ago, at the bottom of a well, in a desolate place. They had closed that chapter anyway, and did not want to remember their despised younger brother. This minister was most handsome, dressed in rich clothes, suiIng his status, not their brother whose shirt they had daubed with false blood to convince their father that he had been killed by a wolf. The life of Yusuf عليه السالمis amazing. When he was a servant, poor and helpless, women were aYracted to him, and tried to seduce him. Now he was a rich and influenIal minister, dressed in expensive clothes, and sIll excepIonally handsome, but there were no women hankering a2er him. That trial was over; other trials were now taking place. We cannot predict the acIons of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. They are so perfect, our minds cannot fathom them. Do not try to predict the future, just submit to the will of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, thank Him and appreciate His love and care. Enjoy each moment as it comes, with the complete certainty that whatever the circumstance you are in, is best for you. There is a perfect wisdom behind all the acIons of Allah ;سبحانه وتعالىenjoy and observe it. Yusuf عليه السالمhad to enquire the circumstances of the people who came for bartering food. He quesIoned them about the number of family members too, so that they were not given more grain than needed. The maximum load that could be given was one camel-load per person. This was necessary to preserve the grain to last through the drought. The people of Egypt were given preference. Some of the mufassireen (those who wrote the tafseer of the Quran) said that the king and Yusuf عليه السالمate only one meal a day, and did not let the common folk of the country go hungry.

Do not you see that I give full measure and that I am the best of accommodators? 12:59 Yusuf عليه السالمwas very accurate with the weights. He provided accommodaIon for the people who came for the grain, and supervised the loading of the camels with the grain. While the brothers loaded their measure of grain, which took several days, Yusuf عليه السالمtalked to them. He asked about their family, and their circumstances. He was gentle and kind, which made the brothers feel comfortable. They menIoned their youngest brother. Yusuf عليه السالمnow had the facility to meet his father, but he did not do so, because Allah سبحانه وتعالىdid not give him permission. Allah سبحانه وتعالىwanted Yusuf عليه السالمto have victory with honor. The brothers who had wronged him came to him, asking for his help. If you are oppressed, trust Allah سبحانه وتعالىto give you your rights.
He followed his offer with a warning. They were told they had to bring their brother with them next Ime. The brothers were wondering how to convince their father to allow them to take their youngest brother with them. He further told them that if they didn't bring their brother, they would get no grain, not even their own share. The brothers didn't wonder why this powerful man, the Aziz, was so insistent upon their bringing their brother. They just assumed that these were the rules for the trade. They were in no posiIon to reject the condiIons any way. Yusuf (AS) negated his hospitality, saying that if they came without the brother, they would get nothing. The brothers were now desperate.
Reported by Abdullah bin Amr bin Al As: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: “Allah ordained the destiny of the creations fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, and His Throne was upon water.”
Yusuf عليه السالمand Bin Yameen were full brothers, while the others had a different mother. Yusuf عليه السالمasked his brothers to bring their youngest brother next Ime, so that he could give them his share of grain as well. He talked about himself, in an aYempt to convince the brothers. He wanted them to trust him, and bring his brother to him. You can talk about your talents and qualificaIons in

8 AHADITH ABOUT NEIGHBORS
(1)Prohibition of Harming Neighbor: The Prophet, (Peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Allah, he is not a believer! By Allah, he is not a believer! By Allah, he is not a believer.'' It was asked, "Who is that, O Messenger of Allah?'' He said, "One whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil" (Sahih Bukhari). (2)Recommendation to treat neighbor well The Messenger of Allah, (Peace and blessings be upon him), said: "Jibril kept recommending me to treat my neighbor well until I thought that he would tell me to make him one of my heirs." (Bukhari:6014) (3)Caring for your neighbors Abu Dharr, May Allah be pleased with him, reported: The Messenger of Allah, (Peace and blessings be upon him), commanded me thus, "O Abu Dharr! Whenever you prepare a broth, put plenty of water in it, and give some of it to your neighbours".( Sahih Muslim) (4)Co-operation with your neighbors Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the messenger of Allah, (Peace and blessings be upon him), said: "No-one should prevent his neighbor from fixing a wooden peg in his wall." Abu Hurairah said (to his companions), "Why do I find you averse to it? By Allah, I certainly will narrate it to you." (Sahih Bukhari) (5)Do not eat your full while your neighbor is hungry The Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him) said:" He is not a believer who eats his fill whilst his neighbor beside him goes hungry" (Bukhari) (6)Never scorn your neighbor's gift Sahih Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet, (Peace and blessings be upon him), used

No one should scorn the gift of a neighbor, even if it is (only) a sheep's foot" (Bukhari: 6017) (7)Harming a neighbor may lead to hell-fire Abu Hurayra, may Allah be pleased with him reported: A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! There is a woman who prays, gives charity and fasts a great deal, but she harms her neighbors with her speech (by insulting them)" He said: "She will go to hell" The man said: "O messenger of Allah! There is (another) woman who is well-known for how little she fasts and prays, but she gives charity from the dried yoghurt she makes and she does not harm her neighbors" He said: "She will go to paradise" (Ahmad, vol. 4, p. 166, Ibn Hibban, hadith no. 2054) (8)Tolerance when treating neighbors Mutarrif said: "I heard that you (he means Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him) have said that the Prophet, (Peace and blessings be upon him), said: "Allah loves three and hates three.'" Abu Dharr said, "I do not think that I would tell lies about the Messenger of Allah." Mutarrif said, "Then who are the three whom Allah loves?" Abu Dharr (quoting the Prophet, (Peace and blessings be upon him)) said: "A man who fights for the sake of Allah, with perseverance and hoping for reward from Him, and fights until he is killed, and you find this in the Book of Allah.' Then he recited: "Truly Allah loves those who fight in His cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure." [al-Saff 61:4] Mutarrif asked, "Then who?" He said, "A man who has a bad neighbor who annoys and disturbs him, but he bears it with patience and forbearance until Allah ends the matter either during his lifetime or upon the death of either of them." Allah (SWT) gives the best description regarding the closeness of the spouses to each other in the Quran’s verse:Â

{…they are your garments and you are their garments…} (2: 187) Indeed, spouses are like garments to each other because they provide one another with the protection, the comfort, the cover, the support, and the adornment that garments provide to humans. Allah (SWT), with His vast wisdom, unites species of the same kind as mates for each other. His (SWT) mercy does not only include the humans, but all species. As for the humans, He (SWT) makes this favor clear:
