A trip to Thailand awoke his passion for alternative medicine and lead him to dedicate his life to research and training in traditional massage and beauty. The Wat Po School in Thailand, The University of Hong Kong, The Ayurveda College in India, The Men Tsee Khang in Dharamsala, are some of the benchmark schools in which he has studied and collaborated with. César, a physical therapist and MBA, has written 19 books about massage and Spa techniques; trained Spa staff, massage therapists, and beauticians; and provided his services a a Spa consultant, offering his expertise especially in the area of pre-opening, training and management services.
Camilla has studied and worked in various countries and within different sectors. Working as a social worker in hospitals made her comprehend to which extent health and well-being determine our lives. From her experience in marketing and client management within the international business sector, she has learned to really listen to the needs of the clients and to offer them more than a five star service; an extraordinary experience. The work as a Business Development Manager in the area of Spa consulting, taught her that there is so much more than the mere installations that makes the client feel true fascination for a Spa, that is; human empathy, the quality and authenticity of the treatments, and offering a holistic experience to be enjoyed through the five senses. The combination of all these experiences, and the opportunity to innovate the world of holistic health, has brought her to work together with César to develop the unique concept of Massage Around the World. Camilla combines her work at MATW with her passion for and study of yoga and meditation.
Out of the awareness that there is a significant lack of resources and a general difficulty to receive high-quality teachings on traditional massage techniques, came the necessity to form a company - Massage Around the World - that would provide high-quality training and consulting apt for even the most demanding public.
Our Collaborators Massage Around the World counts with a group of acclaimed experts in the field of Traditional Medicine from India, Tibet, Thailand, China, etc. The combination of their knowledge, often passed on from generation to generation, and the effort done by Massage Around the World in the elaboration of a didactic structure adapted to the international standards, make our online massage courses and hands-on courses authentic (we drink from the real source), reliable, and easy to put into practice.
