PV street lamp VELA is a stand alone street lamp completely disconnected from the grid system. The lamp shape reminds the sail of a boat and gives a peculiar and distintive appeareance. Suitable for lighting up cyclo-pedestrian paths, parks, harbours and promenades. The wood bench is an addictional feature of this lamp and thanks to its flexible PV module integrated in the structure, it enhances a captivating design.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL Self-production from PV source and energy storage in battery as requested for its functioning. LED light source and cut-off emission that complies with the standards to prevent photopollution. Maximization of overnight consumption thanks to the light dimming coordinated through an algorithm of self-management of the storaged energy and a presence detection with IR technology. Optional local monitoring of the lamp through Bluetooth technology or remote control with GSM technology to reduce maintenance time and costs. 3-4 days autonomy in case of no sun.

During reduced luminous flux mode an ir sensor is enabled, so the lamp come back to full flux mode for two minutes in case of presence/motion close to the lamp. The amount of hours at full and reduce luminous flux is set daily by the lamp internal electronic controller according to an self-management algorithm that prevents the batteries discharge.
