MASTER BUILDER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD GET YOURS!

Each year, Master Builder of Iowa (MBI) recognizes member firms and their employees for individual, project, and company centered achievements throughout the previous year. These awards are presented annually at the winter conference with lights shining bright on the recipients…and rightfully so as these are significant accomplishments.

One of the trophies that you may have seen at the MBI Annual Winter Conference since 2017 is the coveted Master Builder Achievement Award. This honor is bestowed upon an individual who has met the requirements of the Master Builder Designation (MBD) program.

The award itself (pictured) is equally as impressive as the accomplishment of earning it with several different shapes depicting a city skyline that is constructed of wood, sheet metal, aluminum, steel, and more! Weighing in at nearly 25 pounds, this award will make an impressive statement on your mantel, desk, or bookshelf for all to see.

Now, how to earn this impressive award! First, it is important that you enroll in the Master Builders Designation program as soon as possible to assure that you do not miss out on any credits for classes that you take. Once enrolled, you will earn one credit in the area of Project Management, Leadership, Safety, Ecological, or Ethics for every hour of training that you attend through Master Builder of Iowa or our preferred safety trainer Construction Safety Specialists, Inc. (CSSI) (with the exception of webinars). To capture the Master Builder Achievement Award, earn the following 150 credits:

Leadership – 50 Project Management – 50 Ecological – 20 Safety – 15 Ethics – 5 Electives – 10
