Tema: Once they were volcanoes. Walking/ Staying in Pantelleria

Pantelleria is a volcanic island in the middle of Mediterranean See on the marine ridge that separates Europe and Africa. It has a morphology characterized by mountain and hilly reliefs and rare sub-flat areas. The terraced landscape in Pantelleria shows some technical solutions that give the island a strong image with clear outlines: lava stones are the main feature for the human refuge, for the borders of the crops, for the ancient roads. The aim of the workshop is to plan some rest areas along historical paths in relationship with archeological, geological, agricultural and visual features.

METHODOLOGY
