Contract is an agreement between parties to fulfill certain promises. A contract could be oral or written. This can be a simple day to day event of buying a coffee. I pay money and expect to receive a cup of coffee with a “reasonable” standard. Failure to deliver me the coffee with that “reasonable” standard is a breach of contract. In more complex situation, one signing a written agreement with a builder to construct a building with certain specification is a contract, and when the buyer failed to pay the remaining sum of money to the contractor on an agreed due date is a breach of contract. Like wise, a contractor failing to complete the construction with that specified due date with specified standard of materials would constitute breach of contract. Should you feel that your contractual agreement has been breached; do not hesitate to contact His Masters Legal Services Professional Corporation at 416-757-2525.
