Ngati Maru artist Thomas Carroll explores the form and function of Pūtōrino in a series dedicated to the atua of Maori flute music, Hine Raukatauri. While holding true to the traditional understanding of the pūtōrino making process, Thomas will be exploring the vast range of forms the Pūtōrino can take, both traditional and contemporary.
