There is also a private pathway leading directly down to Grunta Beach.

The South West Coast Path is accessible here and there are a wealth of small beaches and coves to explore nearby.

If you want to venture slightly further afield Exmoor National Park can be found just half an hour away by car. There are also several nearby Golf courses including one at Saunton which also has a relaxing Spa hotel next door where you can relax and pamper yourself.

There are also some top rated restaurants nearby in Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and in Croyde where a table at the contemporary New Coast Kitchen is highly sought after.
