INSTRUCTIONS

- There are no parts. Every musicians have to play from the playing score. The mezzo-soprano is the leader; the percussionists have to follow her line and play notes always compared to her. - A rubato behavior could be applied during the whole piece. It also have to be controlled by the mezzo-soprano. - The framed numbers divide the piece into five parts. The musicians have to demonstrate the unit of each parts (as they would be mouvements.)

Relations of the length of the notes and rests: (from the shortest to the longest)

(There is no exact correlation between notes and rests.)

- These two lines express the unit of one phrase/gesture/melody, but! also defines the approximate tempo of the phrases! In most cases the phrases have to be sing under one breathing. The instructions above the brackets always have to be interpreted during the Tempo di Lento

- Synchronization line; express the connection between the different parts.

- Legato, as usual.

- The differents vowels or consonants have to be changed continuously (poco a poco).
