Seven-footed Frog
Humans are not the only collectors on the planet. Xenophoridae is a family of sea snails, more commonly known as carrier shells. What makes these species unusual is that the animal attaches small stones or shells to the edge of their shell as they grow.

Some suggest that Jemaine Clement’s character Tamatoa in Disney’s 2016 Moana draws on the habits of the carrier shells. Tamatoa claims to have been a “drab little crab” until he began covering himself in shiny things.
