Relax for a moment. Do concentrated work in peace and quiet. Sit and chat while charging your computer or phone. These are some of the features of the multifaceted Oas modular sofa.

Oas is a generous and flexible modular sofa that invites to creativity. This untraditional workplace has the characteristics of a traditional one, such as the tabletop for laptops, personal storage, and close to power outlets. The undulating, soft design is consistent throughout the series. When it comes to choice of materials and manufacturing methods, we are uncompromising. One of our goals is for all products containing wood to come from responsibly managed

forests, certified according to FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council). This time we have taken a further step towards our sustainability goals which is why the moulded polyurethane foam used is the REDcert2 certified PurFlex® Biomass Balance. This material helps reduce fossil consumption, while also reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

The modular sofa can be configured according to your needs, providing comfortable seating suitable for many different spaces, such as offices, receptions, and shopping malls. Oas also works as an exclusive lounge sofa for hotels and lobbies.

Tasteful and functional accessories

Oas has a number of accessories with practical functions, one of them being the wide armrest. It always comes with an table top that can be completely clean, equipped with power sockets/USB or have a recessed box, which for example, can be used for plants. To facilitate for the user, there is also an integrated power socket/USB in the seat as an option for charging phones or computers. The wide armrest, as well as the seats and storage cabinets, have integrated linking devices underneath for easy mounting possibilities.

Another elegant accessory is the writing tablet with a gently rounded edge, providing a work surface.

The Oas series includes an upholstered screen that allows you to easily divide the sections of the modular sofa and create a separate area for relaxation or work. There is also a narrow armrest as an option, which frames and makes it into an exclusive lounge piece. The writing tablet arm and the recessed box are powder coated in our colour concept; Colours by Materia (CbM*). The wood, which is FSC® labelled, comes in solid white pigmented or black stained ash.

Stylish storage

Stylish and secure storage complements the Oas series. Place them individually or next to each other for a uniform storage solution. The cabinets are easily assembled with the integrated linking devices underneath. Each cabinet has two separate compartments, each with its own door, which can be locked with a key or with the Flexlock locking system. It is a battery-powered and reliable system with a long service

life, controlled by a card, tag or mobile phone. The storage cabinets are available in veneered white pigmented or black stained ash, and the series’ black feet have adjustable glides. In combination with seating units, the storage cabinets form an expressive meeting place for working collaboratively or individually, or for taking a break.

Environment and sustainability

We are committed to environmental and social responsibility. For the most part, we work with suppliers in our local area, we have several ISO certifications and are careful with our choice of materials. All to offer products that will last over time.

Sustainability has been an important aspect of the design of the Oas series. It is mainly made up of wooden frames and moulded PUR foam. The wood is FSC® certified (Forest Stewardship Council), which means that it comes from responsible forestry. This time we also have a new moulded polyurethane foam, PurFlex® Biomass Balance, in the seat, back

and narrow armrest. This new polyurethane foam contributes significantly to reducing carbon dioxide emissions. The production of polyol and isocyanate usually uses fossil substances for example oil, but the new process uses organic waste, such as food scraps, instead. The end product is a PUR foam with the same properties and high quality as before, but which helps reduce the carbon dioxide emissions of an Oas seat unit by about 80%. PurFlex® Biomass Balance is REDcert2 certified, which guarantees that 100% of the fossil-based raw materials required for manufacturing are replaced by sustainable certified biomass.
