PROFILE
IF
NOT,
Throughout my academic and professional career, I have been fortunate enough to have won several public architecture competitions, which has allowed me to showcase my design skills and gain recognition within the industry in Colombia and in social networks by showcasing my work in instagram. Additionally, I have gained invaluable experience working as both an independent and creative director at an architecture firm, where I have honed my leadership skills and collaborated with colleagues on a wide range of projects.
Moreover, my experiences in multiple countries have allowed me to develop a high level of adaptability and versatility, which is a valuable asset in the fast-paced and constantly evolving field of architecture and design. I have learned to be flexible, open-minded, and able to work effectively with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
One of the most significant advantages of studying in three different countries, such as Mexico, Italy, and Colombia, is the exposure to diverse cultural perspectives and design philosophies. By studying in different regions, I have been able to broaden my understanding of architecture and design, learn new techniques, and gain a global perspective on the field.
I am confident that my skills and expertise will make a valuable contribution to any organization that I work for, and I am excited to continue to grow and evolve as a designer and architect in the years to come.
Overall, my education and professional experience have given me a strong foundation in architecture and visual communication design.

Parque Emergente is an architectural mechanism with modular and prefabricated components that integrate dynamic, programmatic and structural systems into two surfaces in the landscape.
One is a public and operational topography connecting natural grounds with the first floor and its context.
The other is an artificial, lightweight composition with large lights and metal structures, acting as a cover-mechanism.

In ancient Roman cities, the Forum was the space where commercial, financial, religious, administrative, and economic activities took place, as well as being the place where Roman citizens commonly conducted their social life. Given the diversity of functions that the project must respond to and the representativeness of its urban role, the Municipality of San Cristóbal will be the Forum of the locality
We recognize the importance of correct implementation as a foundational gesture. The Municipality achieves two solutions by locating a single laminar volume:
Leveraging the site's level difference, a platform circulation is proposed on the second level that connects the entire project. Two elevated walkways located on the north and south ends of the complex receive the public at the front façade and invite them to walk to the rear boundary, where they will find access to the Municipality and JAL's public services along the way.

T H E H O USE
OF
ALL
The City Hall building project was designed with a comprehensive approach that considered four basic points.
Public Space- Lower Ground Level Plan
The first point was to respond to the physical context of the building, valuing both sides of the building - the access level directed towards the Civic Plaza and the interior gathering spaces throughout the building directed towards the New Linear Park. The second point was to respond to the typology of the building, which recognizes the elongated proportion of the volume, by employing elongated and elevated common spaces that allow for a clear unification of each of the spatial components of the building. The Third was to considered the fixed and flexible components of the building program to conserve its interior identity and allow for future reorganization. Lastly, the design considered the building's structural conditions, ensuring a safe and coordinated response to the needs of its users by employing four large cores that contain the vertical circulations. Public architecture Competition
Organized by the Diputación Provincial of Alicante, Spain
T A S K To design a congress center for the people of Alicante, Spain.
2023 International Competition Role as independent Head Architect & Creative Director in Collaboration with TAP Arquitectura & Paisaje
ABOUT “Terraza al Mar” is a visionary congress center in Alicante, Spain, designed to rejuvenate the city's connection with its maritime heritage. This innovative project integrates seamlessly with the urban landscape, offering a versatile public space that serves as a vibrant community hub year-round. By transforming the traditional congress center model, Terraza al Mar becomes an inclusive and multifunctional venue, promoting cultural engagement, sports activities, and relaxation while overlooking the stunning Mediterranean Sea. TM 01/06
C H A L L E N G E The Congress Center's location on the city's maritime border, serving as the culmination of Alicante's tourist and urban route, presents a unique challenge. Typically, congress buildings tend to isolate themselves from the public, resulting in a space within the city that remains underutilized for most of the year.
S O L U T I O N We transformed the traditional congress center model into an inclusive and multifunctional venue that remains alive and connected to the city's pulse throughout the year, overcoming the challenge of underutilization and fostering a vibrant urban environment for Alicantinos & tourists.

TERCER Y CUARTO PISO

T HE TERRACE O F THE SEA In response to the challenges, the project employs innovative urban integration strategies. By seamlessly blending with the urban and touristic fabric of Alicante, it aspires to become a vibrant year-round public space. The project achieves this integration through meticulous design choices. It leverages its location to offer a picturesque setting, fostering cultural events, recreational activities, and moments of reprieve. The incorporation of water elements plays a pivotal role in rekindling the historical relationship between the city and the sea. It is through these elements that Alicante's residents can reconnect meaningfully with their maritime environment.
S O C I A L The public space will serve as an open gathering place for the community, offering residents and visitors opportunities to enjoy cultural, recreational, and social activities. It will foster interaction, promoting diversity and coexistence among people. On the other hand, the private space represented by the congress center will play a pivotal role in promoting cultural events, conferences, and exhibitions. It will serve as a landmark for the artistic and academic community and act as a platform for projecting Alicante on the international stage.
U R B A N
T E M P O R A L I T Y
The project seeks to highlight the symbiotic relationship between Alicante's iconic castles and the train station. These landmarks, together with the pier, will connect to form a network of interconnected public spaces. This will not only boost tourism but also create a unique experience allowing residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the city's history and culture, with the sea as the guiding thread.
On its first floor, the project will feature a publicly accessible space for everyone. This place is designed to be utilized and enjoyed at any time, offering opportunities for gatherings, leisure, and recreation. Whether during the day or night, citizens will be able to enjoy the seaside terrace and benefit from its privileged location facing the Mediterranean Sea.

SEGUNDO PISO
