C REATE THE FORUM, A STAGE FOR THE CITY
In ancient Roman cities, the Forum was the space where commercial, financial, religious, administrative, and economic activities took place, as well as being the place where Roman citizens commonly conducted their social life. Given the diversity of functions that the project must respond to and the representativeness of its urban role, the Municipality of San Cristóbal will be the Forum of the locality

A Promenade For Access
We recognize the importance of correct implementation as a foundational gesture. The Municipality achieves two solutions by locating a single laminar volume:
Creates an urban space with identity for the Institution by connecting with the Police building.
Forms a strong institutional response to the New Park, allowing the Municipality to become the transition threshold between vegetation and the Civic Plaza with a free floor plan.
Leveraging the site's level difference, a platform circulation is proposed on the second level that connects the entire project. Two elevated walkways located on the north and south ends of the complex receive the public at the front façade and invite them to walk to the rear boundary, where they will find access to the Municipality and JAL's public services along the way.
Consolidation Of The Complex
The urban complex recognizes the character of the created civic space and complements it, creating a counterpoint (hard/soft area, civic/cultural, open/intimate). We propose a Cultural Park that contains the House of Culture, the Library, and the green areas of the complex.
The House Of All
The City Hall building project was designed with a comprehensive approach that considered four basic points.
The first point was to respond to the physical context of the building, valuing both sides of the building - the access level directed towards the Civic Plaza and the interior gathering spaces throughout the building directed towards the New Linear Park.
The second point was to respond to the typology of the building, which recognizes the elongated proportion of the volume, by employing elongated and elevated common spaces that allow for a clear unification of each of the spatial components of the building.
The Third was to considered the fixed and flexible components of the building program to conserve its interior identity and allow for future reorganization. Lastly, the design considered the building's structural conditions, ensuring a safe and coordinated response to the needs of its users by employing four large cores that contain the vertical circulations.

Redesign the public space of “El Hoyo y el Piloto”
Task Challenge
The Cali river passes next to the neighborhoods but they lack activities that invite the city to enjoy the rivers surroundings. They are also located in the corner of the biggest and most important web of public architectural interventions
About Solution
Cali, Colombia has 7 rivers, one runs through the city center passing near neighborhoods called El Hoyo and El Piloto.
This project developed public space in these neighborhoods to rehabilitate and reconnect its citizens with their main river through permeable and contemplatory spaces with the use of urban acupuncture.
Design a space that seamlessly blends together the urban and natural enviroments in addition to the preexisting architectural interventions in that part of the city
