2.BYSANIRESIDENCE
This project lies in the heart of Bangalore urban area of Basavangudi The house project consists of building over a pre-existing house. This project includes building an apartment style house for the children of a family owning the floors below. The access to the floors above will be the same as the floors below The ground floor and the first floor are preexisting floors. The second and third floor are made by studio decode as proposed in the following drawings and images.
The client required a volumous yet mellow increase in the floors and the square footage had to remain almost similar. Since the clients were very outgoing and entertainings, they wanted a space that could resonate the sounds of the outside world yet leave them undisturbed; thus came the double heighted courtyard space where an extension of a window to the master bedroom cantilevered over
3.ANKITAEROSPACEFACTORY
This is a project designed by Studio Decode in Bangalore. The narrative for this project lied in the fact that the factory had two buildings functioning but the employees had no designated space to relax or even have lunch. And also the washrooms in this area had no goof planning and was lacking substantial service spaces.
The work i had done on this project was refining the master plan and drafting the bathroom plans, service plans. the open-air-amphitheater, landscape areas and other essential and non essential spaces.
The site is located in Jigani-20km off Bangalore to the south of the industrial areas.

The landscape area is designed as a mixture of different materials making up different spaces. There are seating mimicing planter boxes arranged circularly with a tree in between. There is also a bench for seating and a memorial wall for the factory.
The newly designed male washrooms house a locker area coupled with two rows of three urinals each. These washrooms also contain a set of 6 regular toilet stalls and one handicapped accessible toilet stall. The toilet also contains a washing area. The female toilet has been further pushed inside to contain oil barrels that was previously contained in the alley pathway between the factory buildings which is currently designed as a public space for the seaters.
4. CUBBONPARK
This project is proposed and accepted for development by Studio Decode, Bangalore. This main objective of the project was to rejuvenate the various natural features of this iconic park that had fallen the victim of time. The main aims were to redevelop the dried up ponds, to build more ecosystems like lily ponds and provide seating, parks and other amenities like washrooms to the differently abled. The cause for the arrival of this project is the fact that cubbon park was not developing with the times by becoming more inclusive; thus this project was put into place. This project also includes adding cycle stands, senior citizen seating and other various amenities

INTRODUCTION TO SIDDI PEOPLE AND CULTURE :
The Siddis of Karnataka are an ethnic group inhabiting India. Members are descended from Bantu peoples from Southeast Africa that were brought to the Indian subcontinent as slaves by Portuguese merchants. There is a 50,000 strong Siddi population inhabiting the coastal region of Karnataka for around 500 years now The intention behind this particular project is due to the fact that the culture of this group of people that live among us is almost obscure to the people not associated with them. This sort of history needs to be engraved somewhere an the architectural solution for this problem is seemingly the foremost method to solve it. They are bound by the belief of ‘Hirayu’ or ancestor worship. The Siddis speak the language of Konkani being from Goa. Occupations of most Siddis are either farmers, casual labourers or both of these occupations. The Siddis of Karnataka are known in recent years for their unique style of quilting called kawandi.
Site co-ordinates - 15°15 36.6"N 74°37'27.3"E (Site is located in the town of Dandeli) Site area - 12.4 acres. This new ‘Cultural Heritage’ park would be an acknowledgement to the Siddi culture. It would consist of public spaces like parks as well as squares. There would need to be a central heritage exhibit or museum.

SITE SECTION - 1
This project was designed for an issue that arose for the Bangalore campus of the Indian Institute of Management. Many of the students that were studying a post graduate course were married and had to live away from their spouses as their spouses could not live with them in the general hostel accommodation.
This project aims to provide housing for the few hundred married students at the institution by providing studio apartment type hostel rooms.
Master plan view
The master plan includes 6 similar housing structures placed in an almost hexagonal orientation Each housing structure holds 26 rooms over two storeys There is a courtyard encompassed at the centre of each housing structure and the collective housing is placed around a large central playing field providing a range of sporting facilities.

This project is located in a site at the heart of Madiwala. This site sits adjacent to one of the oldest markets in the city of Bangalore. The reason I chose this site for my 6th semester project is because this site is located in a recreationally frustrated urban sprawl. The children and adults in this area have no park or recreational area for a radius of 2 kilometres Thus the urban activity i have decided to provide is an urban skatepark
This building will feature a double heighted skate-oval on the ground floor. From the first floor onwards there will be a museum or an art gallery with a range of galleries of diverse range for the next three storeys The base floor of the museum holds an outdoor garden sculpture gallery The fifth and sixth floor of the building holds a two storey library and resource centre. The terrace floor holds a greenhouse and a terrace garden.
The main objective of this project is to provide leisure space for the locals of the area coupled with being a monument to the city as it is located fairly close to major economic centers

The building is a concrete structure with a brick arched façade at the bottom storey. The building then slowly turns to taper outwards with a curtain wall enclosement The top floors have a conventional plan with a plastered modern facade. This contrast in faces is to show the diversity of programs in the buildings agenda. In each floors service sector exists a visitor washroom , staff washrooms and offices. Expected crowd over all programs is 1200 people but the structure can fill 5000 at max Site area : 1.3 acres.
The bottom two floors of the gallery have a hole at the center of the floor slab to accommodate for maximum sunlight to enter the bottom floors like the skatepark and museum.
