Parallels was printed as a trio of posters, with the use of ‘True Grit’ Photoshop brushes and Illustrative techniques for the main visuals. The brief’s intention was to design an abstract visual series for the story 1Q84, which emphasises the false reality that we live in, playing on the idea of alternate realities. The colour palatte reflects the absurb intense superficiality of the novel.
