Irriverent,funny, ironic, mockers and cheerful, carefree and jockers, the couple of young designers Angela Dell’ Aquila and Massimo Paudice, both living in Napoli, characters that you do not expect. Since 2000 they draw and produce their brand VINTAGE RECYCLED, proving that they have many things to say. Fashion should give happiness, need to bring dreams, otherwise what is the point? We already have everything, why we should be attracted for something sad or boring? Both follow, since always, their instict and they have a funny vision of fashion. They choose to live in the island of Ischia, allthough they have their company in Napoli, of 1200 square meters, and a showroom in Milan, they love to research armony and originality in their creations. Vintage, like every inspiration, should not be taken literally but it should be split and inspected. “Creative recycling” Everything is handmade, designs are original, each collection has its own history and its color.
They have fun together with their TEAM to disassemble, remodel and mend all the used clothing. Garments born to the end piece or unsold shop, skillfully recovered by our seamstresses and designers. Many garments are made using the technique “upcycling” term that describes the process of “creative recycling” of materials used or recycled already, giving greater value to the product obtained from the original part. Achieving this kind of products requires an extraordinary skill in knowing how to choose the starting garments, disassemble and representing them in other forms, working directly on a dummy, to have the best possible aesthetic. The creations obtained are brilliant: from a pant you get a jacket, from a sweater a dress, remaining essentially fashionable, according to the latest trends, but with an approach sustainable and environmentally friendly. So, in our clothing is aligned fashion, ecology, recycling, but above all the individuality and beauty of the woman wearing these garments.
