Styling Choices Oyster Kilpatrick images: [Type text]

For the entrĂŠe images I have used a multi-edged black plate in order to represent the oyster shell and I have chosen a sand-like base to represent sand or beach theme whilst eating the oysters. We had the light above and behind to capture these images so there is no shadow being casted over the food and so that the food looks fresh and hot and ready to eat.

Bacon and Cheese Chicken image: The main meal’s photograph was taken with a black background so it would draw more attention to the meal itself, a white circular plate was used to provide contrast with the background and direct the audiences’ attention towards the food. We had the light directly over the food so no shadows were casted on top of the food.

Maple Bacon and Pancake image: This image has been taken on a white square plate which complements the circular pancakes; the maple syrup makes the dish look shiny and the strawberries add a more vibrant colour to the dish.
