Matthew is originally from Fresno, California. Surrounded by music at a very young age, he knew that his life and passion was going to be music. By the age of 10, he was already writing ballads and recording music on his own. Not only classically trained in piano,

Matthew is a vocalist and dynamic drummer revealing his own unique internal beat. Even while moving from different cities as a kid, Matthew kept focused on his music. While living in Detroit, he studied at the prestigious Clark Conservatory of Music. There he started to work with ballads folding into jazzy/rock instrumentals. Matthew was also influenced by Gospel music.“I would sing the classic hymn (Old Rugged Cross) and add my own twist to it”. Once returning to California, Matthew attended Hollywood High School. Upon graduation, he was chosen by his class to sing at the famous Hollywood Bowl, packing the entire concert venue – a future glimpse of his destiny. “It’s a blessing that I get to do this everyday, as much as I like. I have experienced many emotions in my life; there is not a lot I haven’t felt. So, my goal is to use my music is to connect with people and their emotions”.
