I’m a native Coloradan with a drive to bring great design to people’s everyday lives. I posses a love of nature that stems from a childhood spent in Colorado and family trips to the ocean. In my free time I enjoy exploring the local culture of Cincinnati including art, museums, and good food. When given the opportunity I also enjoy hiking snowboarding, fly fishing, and camping. I believe that natural, elegant, minimal design has the power to change the world and I want to be a part of it.

PACKAGE IDEATION 01
03
Touring Mode
Sport Mode
-Front Seated Passengers can turn 180 seats to face backwards -Not enough room to remain stationary with current package size -Rear seats need to shift backwards to accommodate more leg room for all 4 passengers
-Passengers remain in the same spot, swivels in a half circle, stationary -Driving controls fold out to meet driver when chair is in driving position.
Touring Mode
Sport Mode
-Front Seated Passengers can turn seats to face backwards, seats are staggered so each passenger has a greater sense of personal space
Driver seat shifts to from in a more isolated position
-Driver seat still has to move forward if interior is going to accommodate 180 degree turning
02
04
Seating shift to provide ample space for rear passengers in a unique layout
Touring Mode
Sport Mode
-Front Seated Passengers can turn seats to face backwards, dash folds down allowing more room, seats shift back
Driver seat moves forward ahead of others giving a more isolated position further engaging them in the driving mode
-Still not enough room for front passengers to remain stationary, Front seat must move forward to accommodate 180 degrees of motion
Rear seating has an ample amount of room in this mode.
Touring Mode
Sport Mode
-Driver seat is the only swivel, the other three are luxury bench seating -Makes driver seat the focal point of the interior drawing attention to the significance of drive mode. -Luxury Bench needs to be more expansive to luxuriously seat 3 people
-Driver Seat Moves Forward ahead of others -Pure isolation in drive mode enhancing attention to the focus of driving -This isolates the driver too much making the vehicle more of a chauffeur than business touring.
Key Findings Design for final package should be around the size of the Jaguar XE Seats will not pivot 360 degrees because the space required is much to large for a sport saloon Design inspiration will come from making as much space/customization as possible in a smaller interior Interior forms/mass will have to shift or transform to create the extra space expected from a driver-less car

FINAL DESIGN
Seating All 4 seats are attached to a telescoping center console that retracts into extra trunk space. Each side operates independently allowing passengers to pivot and go forward or backward
Drive Mode Steering wheel and displays fold out of box presenting diver with all the controls needed to drive the vehicle JAGUAR I A-B TYPE
Wood Desk The wood desk is attached to a track that runs along the door panel. This allows the weight of the table to be fully supported when it is pulled forward
Knee Bolster When shifting from diving mode to touring mode the knee bolster pushes forward into the frontal trunk space. With a computer in-control of the car, there is no need for this safety feature
4-Person Touring Mode Driver controls fold away allowing front passengers full access to wood desk and smart glass table. Knee bolster also pushes into the front of the vehicle for more space 9
Smart Glass Table The table is attached to its stand allowing it to move along a track embedded in the floor for many different positions
2-Person Touring Mode With fewer passengers the rear seats are able to retract into the trunk and allow front captains chairs to move back. This allows the wood desk and smart glass table are able to move with the passengers MATT HAVERKAMP P: 720.212.3964
