“B-FILTER” is to make “Nakhon Khuen Khan Park“ as Bangkrachao’s sustainable filter, for the physical pollution and also mental pollution ,which can naturally maintain itself . “Bangkrachao” is always called “The Lung of Bangkok” because it’s the last “Grreen Area” near the metropolis whhich some saay that it produce fresh air and reduce air pollutioon from the factory nearby. In fact, if we do moree study on it. We must seee clearly that Bangkraachao actually works as the “K Kidney of Bangkok”.. It’ss help fillter the pollution from both air and water before it pass to the sea. Under this knowledgge, “B-Fiilter ” is typically consist of 3 maains filteer fuction as “aair polutioon filter ” “C Contam minated water filter’’ and “Soul fiilter ”

“CLEAN AIR” Using natural ecosystem - Trees - as the air filter to refine air pollution from the factory nearby and conducting fresh air to the community and all who visit the park.

“ CLEAN CLEAR CALM ” “CALM SOUL” Make the last green area of the city better by evolving the existing ecology to the more sustainable and self-maintain eco-system. Providing the space for relaxation among nature and also introduce the activities and new experience which get you closer to nature.

G. Fresh water storage : One of main problems in this park is the lack of freshwater for nursery planting. This problem make the gardenner to use “Tap Water� to watering all of them and it cost so much. This pond is seperated from the others to collect freshwater from rainy season. B. Sediment pond:Get water through west water gate. In this pond the rough pollutant will be fillterd by the marinail plant such as Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanioides) and Thai Papyrus (Cyperus involucratus).
C. Aeration Pond 2 : Water through the first aeration pond will be now collected in the big lake in the middle of the park. This pond let people help increasing Oxygen level by Water Biking that,itself, containing water turbine at the back. This will increase moe Oxygen to water through biking. C. Aeration Pond :With its existing shape, this part is quiet narrow ad long that’s suitable to be “Aeration Pond“ which make the water run slower by the concrete bar. Due to the slowwer current, this will increase the oxidization rate into water.
D. Nypa Palm Community : Water will run through this part and Nypa Palm will catch the pollutant in the water.
E. Estuarine Ecosystem : In this pond after filtering by Nypa palm, water will run through Estuarine Ecosystem which some plant’s root help absorbing small chemical in water before let water go out through the east watergate that’s connected to the outside Klongs , Chaopraya river and Sea.

NATEE-NAKORN Green Aquarium, the proposal aims to return nature back to the city for people in this destination where nature and city are integrated. Under the concept of “Contrast node”, the aquarium and waterfront provide the sense of “Contrast” in both programatic and aesthetic expression and also in every elements. The name “Natee-Nakorn” is a compound word by combining two words “Natee“ and “Nakorn“ (Nakara) which are Thai word. Natee means water that represent the simplicity and smooth of natural sense and form, and Nakorn means city which is still and solid. These two words are conflicting the in texture of word meaning that water is so flowing, but the concrete city is so monolithic. “NATEE-NAKORN” would become the new city node and represent the new term of “Urban green aquarium”

This project aims to represent the new “Contrast Spot” in the city where the simplicity of nature and the complexity in city are integrated in the design.
To introducing the city iconic destination, the design aims to return nature into the city and provide the place for people interaction and connecting to each other. The site also provide the better calm view when looking down from the city high-rise.
The design’s objective is to maximize the natural space into the site.According to that our strongly purpose the building mass is mostly undergrond and the rest is covered with green roof which provide more green space and also become the new view point of the East River to the city.
According to our design, the site will become the destination where people can make interaction to each otherand connecting to the nature while enjoying spending time with exciting marine creatures.Futhermore,this project strongly aims to rais awarness and encorage people to re-contemplate the habitats and ecosystem surrounding the city which human are longing for.

To emphasizing the complementary of the city and nature in both interior and exterior,the spatial composition and the massing unit aim to make a visual contrast to the exterior city grid by using the curve which deconstruct the urban grid pattern. Also the interior,the aquarium is design to give the conflicting feeling and experience within the space .

DHARMA PLANT
This project aims to renovate the temple that was onced deforested into the “Natural Sanctuary” for both human and nature. Within the temple area, it will provide the area close to nature in forest. Far fron the stress and busyness that afflict city life, a tranquil, natural setting provides the perfect environment for developing peace and wisdom as the Buddhistic doctrine derived from the surrounding nature. The reclaiming of surrounding nature also provide the calm atmostphere for meditation and a habbitat for all living creatures. Likewise, this could be considered a metaphor for planting tree back into nature and blossoming Dharma in to one’s soul.
DESIGN CONCEPT As the Bhuddism teaching was adapted from the surrounding nature in an ancient time. The main concept is to bring back the once-existing nature of the site before constructing the temple. Reclaiming the characteristic forest of this area will provide the perfect environment for mediation lerning through the unique natural context of this site, such as the landform, rocks and native plants. Likewise, the way the ancient Bhuddhist did.

a. Entrance : creating the sence of inviting from nature through the small simple gate among rush green trees. b.Dharma plaza : a plaza for gathering people among nature with unique context form existing rock. The plaza’s purpose if for bhuddism festival year round for both monks and people.
c. Stone Column : creating tthe transition space from Dharma Plazaa area to the Meditation zone. The Stone columns represent the soil profile of the Saraburi’s soil characteristic. d. Outdoor Meditation : this area was created for ‘Walking Meditation” the path for walking is clung to the gently slope edge of the site which provide new experience for walking meditation.

“MOUNTAIN TOWER” THE DESIGN CONCEPT IS CONSIDERED UNDER THE MAIN WORKSHOP TOPIC, “EMERGENT BANGKOK”. OUR TEAM HAS DISCUSSED THAT THE ONE OF SIGNIFICANT PROBLEMS IN BANGKOK WHICH CAN BE CALLED “EMERGENT BANGKOK”. OUR TEAM FOSATH CUS ON THE LACK OF GREEN SPACE IN THE CITY AREA WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO DEVELOPT. DUE TO THE HIGH PRICE OF LAND AND ONLY FEW EMTY LAND LOT IN THE CITY AREA,THE SOLUTION FOR INCREASING MORE GREEN SPACE COULD BE MORE CHALLENGING. WE’VE TRIED TO INTRODUCE THE NEW TYPE OF GREEN SPACE FOR THE CITY, THUS, WE FOCUSING ON HOW TO GET MORE AREA WHITIN THE CITY. OUR TEAM CAME UP WITH THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE ABANDONED BUILDING MATCHED OUR INTEREST. SATHORN UNIQUE TOWER

AFTER DISCUSSING THE SOLUTION FOR THE TOPIC AND PROBLEMS, WE FINALIZED THE CONCLUSION AS A “MOUNTAIN TOWER” AIMS TO TRANSFORM THE ABANDONED BUILDING THAT’S QUITE USELESS INTO VALUABLE VERTICAL GREEN SPACE. PROVIDING THE SPACE FOR COMMUNITY AND PRODUCING MORE OXYGEN AND SHADE TO THE CITY AND HELP INCREASING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR PEOPLE IN BANGKOK. THIS TYPE OF VERTICAL GREEN PARK WILL ACT AS IF IS WAS A CITY FILLTER, PRODUCING MORE OXYGEN TO THE CITY.
THE SITE
WE CHOSE THE SITE IN ONE OF BANGKOK’S CBD DISTRICT--BANGRAK DISTRICT,WHICH HAS HIGH DENSITY IN BOTH RESIDENTIALS AND TRAFFICS WITH MANY POLLUTIONS PROBLEMS. LOCATED IN BANGRAK, THE HIGHEST ABANDONED BUILDING IN BANGKOK IS OUR INTEREST. WE CHOSE “SATHORN UNIQUE’ THE HIGHEST ABANDONED BUILDING AS OUR PROTOTYPE FOR THE PROJECT.

2535 RANGSAN TORSUWAN WAS ARRESTED FOR PLOTTING TO MURDER THE PRESIDENT OF THE SUPREME COURT.
2540 TOM YAM KUNG CRISIS FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS WAS CLOSED DOWN.THE CREDIT LINE HAS BEEN TERMINATED THEREFORE, THE PROJECT HAS TO STOP. 2551 RANGSAN TORSUWAN WAS FREE FROM LEGAL CASE.
2557 THERE IS FIRE ON THE TOP OF THE BUILDING, BUT IT IS UNDER CONTROLLED IN SHORT TIME. SOON LATER THERE IS A PERSON COMMITTED SUISIDE.
