The Residence in Nantwich opened in 2007 and took the local restaurant and bar scene to a new level. Housing a cocktail bar, restaurant, private hire suite and alfresco garden terrace, set over two beautifully designed floors; Residence, Nantwich is set in a Georgian mansion house. Originally built in the 1600s, the most famous resident was former Lord Mayor of London, Edmund Wright in the 17th century. Residence Nantwich is open every day from 11am Monday to Sunday and has a private secure car park.

Residence is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies. You can choose from the intimate private dining room holding up to 20 people, or the main banqueting suite holding up to 50, the restaurant holding up to 60 or the beautiful terraces to create a wonderful outdoor ceremony.
Residence can be your own private space to create your mood, style and timing. Whatever you decide we can help, if you wish, with all the services that transform the average into the super-special. Photography, decorations, entertainment, accommodation, transport. Where necessary, we draw upon local, trusted suppliers.

Our seductive cuisine Our chefs will seduce you with a gastronomic delight. You can choose from the carefully devised Wedding Breakfast menu for the more traditional day, or simply opt for something different – like a barbecue on the terrace, afternoon tea in the Restaurant, or old-fashioned fish’n’chips.
Location The Residence is situated in the heart of Nantwich and is easily reached from junction 16 of the M6 and within one hour of Manchester, Liverpool & Birmingham. We are a two minute walk from the stunning St Mary’s church, St Anne’s catholic church & Nantwich Methodist church. We can also recommend local hotels and transport to make it as easy as possible for you.
