RAS GROUP – RECENT PROJECTS Story 1 New West Kirby Pub for Spitting Feathers A big 'Cheers!' to our client Matthew Wally of Spitting Feathers Brewery Chester on his new pub the West Kirby Tap, opening soon on the Wirral. Design and Print @ RAS have designed the stationery, signage and even an etched glass vinyl logo for a beautiful mirror which continues the corporate branding established for the Brewery Tap pub in Chester in 2008. Another project completed recently for Spitting Feathers was a new beer pump clip for The Ring O' Bells pub in Christleton, Chester. The 'Sozzled Swan Ale' clip depicts a boozy Swan making his way home from the pub. Good luck with the new venture Matthew from all of us. Story 2 Flying off to a great start - Mulberry Travel We recently had the pleasure of designing a logo and stationery range for new company Mulberry Travel, now set up in the Steam Mill Chester by our client Clive Barlow and colleagues. A little flying bird figure made up of individual berries and leaves was the design Mulberry went with, and is currently (forgive the pun!) incorporated into their new website. We wish Clive and his colleagues all the very best for the future. Story 3 Design for The Firs School Chester local history book We were really excited when Ted Longman, former head of the Firs School Chester, asked us to design his book written about the history of the school formed by his mother in the 1950's.
The book contains fascinating stories and some great photos of the school over the years, and is due to be published in April. All the very best and thanks to Ted and his wife Ruth for giving us this great project. Story 4 2014 menus for Egryn Hotel & Restaurant Abersoch It's that time of year again when we update the design of the menus for the Egryn's busy summer season in Abersoch, North Wales. Lynne and Mike Maylor have a stylish steakstone and seafood restaurant within the hotel, for which we've recently done a new design for the A3 menu, printed as a Printing.com A3 showcard and added to this there is a takeaway A5 gloss flyer menu to appeal to a wider market.
