The Safari Park is a great place to visit if you are staying in the Wiltshire area; it is the UK's number 1 and has been loved by the public for over 60 years. New additions to the Safari Park is that it has just built a new multi million pound Jungle Kingdom and Longleat House which is said to be one of the most stunningly beautiful homes in Britain. 2. Around the Wiltshire area we also have many outdoor activities to keep you busy. Considering the areas of outstanding natural beauty Wiltshire is a popular walking attraction and there is nothing better than getting out in the fresh air. There are also many cycles and horse riding tracks if you prefer to do them or you can play on one of our award winning golf courses. Finally, there are a number of fishing docks around for you to catch and throw back or to catch and keep. 3. One of the great attractions of Wiltshire is Stonehenge. Stonehenge has many different legends on how or why it was created, however no one knows for certain why it is there. If you want to obtain some historical information on Wiltshire the museums are a great place to visit. The local history museums such as Salisbury and South Wiltshire and Wiltshire museums both provide an amazing insight to the rich heritage our country has obtained. If you haven't already taken the Stonehenge tour the gallery would be a wonderful place to visit. 5. For those people who are car enthusiasts the vintage classics would be a brilliant place for you to visit. It is based in the beautiful county of Wiltshire and is fairly close the Bath, Bristol and the Cotswold. You can hire out the vintage classic cars and choose from Jaguar E-types or MKII, Austin Healey, MGC Roadster, Alfa Romeo GTV, Alfa Romeo Spider and Audi Quattro turbo. If you hiring out a classic car it would be a wonderful way to explore the countryside. 6. If you are visiting with children Butterfly World would be a great day out. You can walk with these stunning butterflies whenever regardless of what the weather is like outside.
