What Students Say About Our Programs... Our educators have had the honor of being welcomed into classrooms throughout the Long Island area and we’ve been especially touched by some of the amazing hand-written notes and follow-up survey responses we’ve received from student attendees. According to our survey, 9 out of 10 students agree that the program improved their knowledge of how to reduce their risk for breast cancer. Only 7% of students report having done a breast self-exam the previous month, but after our program 55% report that they plan to do one. And an amazing 78% of students report that they plan to share their new knowledge with family members. We are so proud to make such a difference in young people’s lives!
