ABOUT MAURIZIO I’m a Mexican-Canadian wedding photographer. Since my early years, art, specially painting, was a huge influence in my life, I really love how some artists can create big emotions and beauty from a blank canvas. I studied for a mechanic engineer, architecture was my second option, I’m fascinated with coherence of shapes in space. I became a professional photographer in 2011, trying to succeed in this new adventure I learned from the big guys, emulating their formulas and learning their technics, once I felt bonded to my camera, my very own style started to show up in my own images. The first couple years everything was about feeling secure with my work. With a beautiful wife and a four year old son, I finally understood the value of the wedding photography, maybe it sounds a little as a cliché but I believe that my photos will be the treasure of the future generations of the families I photograph now. I value journalistic photography style but I love creating images that can’t be seen with the naked eye, I love photographs that make you think and maybe some may not understand, photos that defy the logical thinking. I’m a guy with one feet on the ground and the other one step ahead. I say hello to you.

¿HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER? Choosing your photographer is not only a matter of budget, your photographer will be the closest person to you on your wedding day, he will be at your side from the moment you start getting ready ´till the end of the day. You´ll share the day with him, he will support you when things go slightly out of control and he will enjoy with you the great moments of the day. You need to connect with your photographer and fully trust him, you must know very well his photographic style, thrill yourself with his images and feel through them. Do you know that your wedding photos are the visual memory of the story you will start writing in your wedding day? What story do you want to show to your grandchildren?

Do you travel? Of course, we are a studio based in a very northern city, Montreal Canada and the colourful Mexico City, We´ve been hired to photograph weddings in places as close as your own home to super exotic places like the Naxos Island in Greece or the busy iron city of New York.
Do you travel? How you deliver our photographs? Our photographic wedding collection will include a minimum of 600 photographs, each one of them will be edited carefully until they get the look and feel that we are famous for. We will deliver to you two versions of each photo, one version optimised for sharing with your family and friends via Facebook or any digital media or social network and the other will be optimised for high quality printing.
Wha’ts your delivery time? Our work doesn't finish when we leave your wedding, It may be just the beginning. Back in the studio it comes a very detailed post production process that can take us up to 120 hard working hours. We want you to enjoy your photos as soon as possible, so we are committed to deliver your digital photographic collection in less than 8 weeks. That´s fast, believe me.
Do you deliver photobooks or prints? We believe that viewing your pictures on a computer or cellphone screen will never be as rewarding as having a heavy book on your lap, with soft texture and nice smelling leather, all senses come into play. We know our books are the protagonists of family and friends meetings and a piece that will pass from hand to hand from parents to children to grandchildren. All our packages include one of our photobooks.
How early should we book you? It´s common that couples contact us from the moment they decide their wedding date, many people trust us and love our work and they don't want to miss the chance.
Why should we have an engagement session? The engagement session is a great opportunity to have fun and get amazing photos, you will start getting comfortable in front of the camera in less than you think. These photos will be the perfect “Save the Date” and will get all your guests in the wedding mood!
Why should I choose to Maurizio Solís Broca Photography? Before photographer, I´m a husband and father, I love my family and believe in the visual legacy and the value of memories. Each project is alive and vibrate inside me every time I press the shutter, I believe in the historical value that my photographs will achieve with the passing of time.
What do you think about unplugged weddings? They are great! Suggesting your guests to live and enjoy the wedding keeping their phones in their trousers and purses will make them enjoy live!, I´ve got the pictures you want!

The photographic collection is delivered in digital format high resolution in about 8 weeks. Weddings outside Montreal, Quebec Canada and Mexico City, Mexico, may be subject to travel expenses (air or ground transportation, and accommodation). Huge weddings may be subject to some price adjustments, we get more crew to the party to cover every detail. Peace of mind.
