The day will come when it’s time to make an important decision regarding who to hire when you’re ready to buy or sell. Traditionally real estate has been a solo endeavor, but a growing trend in the development of teams has provided buyers and sellers with a new option for representation. A team can provide diverse skill sets, unwavering availability, and combined expertise which creates an environment where clients can confidently navigate their real estate goals. Teams can be made up of several different roles, each with unique responsibilities. At the Katie Baker Group RE/MAX Encore, we’ve built a powerhouse team of women comprised of a Seller’s Agent, two Buyer’s Agents, a Client Care Coordinator, a Marketing Director, and a Transaction Coordinator. Whether you're selling your property or on the hunt for the perfect home or commercial space, the specialized roles within the team ensure that every step is handled with precision and expertise.

As a Seller’s Agent, I work with sellers to position their properties for maximum market appeal. This begins with a staging consultation and market analysis of the home after which our Client Care Coordinator and Marketing Director launch our comprehensive marketing plan to list a property. The Client Care Coordinator ensures seamless communication and client satisfaction, acting as a dedicated point of contact throughout the entire process. The Marketing Director brings creativity and innovation to property promotion, leveraging modern marketing techniques to maximize exposure. Together these two roles analyze a host of optional services to decide which ones best align with the needs of the home we are representing. This may involve scheduling photographers, videographers, cleaning crews, professional measurements, researching historical data on the property, and drafting the initial paperwork to sell a home.

After an initial review of the property specifics, our Buyer Agents will review their list of prospective buyers to see if any existing prospects are an ideal match for the home the Seller’s Agent is preparing to list. While a listing is Active on the market our office may receive inquiries from unrepresented buyers. Should these buyers decide to seek representation they have the option of working with one of the Buyer Agents on our team or securing their own agent.

A Buyer's Agent plays a crucial role in a real estate team, specializing in assisting clients who are looking to purchase properties. Their primary focus is on understanding the needs and preferences of buyers and guiding them through the process of finding and acquiring a suitable property.

Real estate transactions often operate on tight timelines, requiring quick responses and immediate attention. One of the significant advantages of working with a team is the availability and accessibility of a dedicated group of agents to show properties, answer client questions, or provide updates on the transaction process. The Client Care Coordinator and/or the Transaction Coordinator each plays a pivotal role in client communication by serving as a dedicated point of contact for clients, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
