Maven Lash & Brow is a boutique studio offering Permanent Cosmetics and Eyelash Extensions in the comfort of private treatment rooms. Kelley Jenkins, owner and artist, is a licensed aesthetician, multi-certifi ed lash artist, as well as a licensed tattoo artist and multi-certifi ed PMU artist.

Jenkins opened this studio in Spring Hill in 2020 but started her career by introducing eyelash extensions to her aesthetic clientele about 10 years ago when they were beginning to evolve and getting recognition in the United States. In addition to lashes her Spring Hill studio now offers a full slate of services for eyebrows including micro blading, powder brows or machine strokes as well as other PMU services including lip blushing and eyeliner.

“We all know that beauty comes from within, but our physical attributes also affect how we feel about ourselves,” Jenkins stated. “Not to mention the fact, the convenience of Permanent Cosmetics and eyelash extensions!”

Maven Lash & Brow is the premier machine strokes brow studio in middle Tennessee, but also offers micro blading as an option for clients. As Jenkins explains, “Micro blading is a manual tattoo procedure using a handheld tool to create hair strokes in the brows. Machine strokes is a tattoo procedure creating brow hair strokes by implanting pigment into the skin with a tattoo machine and the healed results are crisper and tend to last twice as long as micro blading.” It is a personal decision, and the benefi ts of each technique can be discussed during a consultation. “Lifestyle and after-care play a huge role in the healed results, and not everyone is a candidate for these procedures. In this case, powder brows (shading) may be a better option.” Jenkins added, “Perfection is our goal, but note that nothing is perfect — Brows are sisters, not twins.”

In addition, Jenkins is now offering 3D areola restoration (tattooing), which is a service that can help so many women who have had reconstructive breast surgery. Very simply this technique of shading and shadows gives the illusion of having a third dimension and looking as if the tattoo is above the skin creating a nipple and areola. This service is a beautiful solution to help women feel confi dent again after reconstructive breast surgery.
