The world as is, is not as near as how the world should be. Design is the craft that connects me to possible futures.
Curriculum Vitae
SAMONTE JOSHUA MAVERICK PROFILE
Hi, I am Maverick. My interest in Architecture and construction was initiated by my grandfather. Since i was young he would share his stories from work. Talking about buildings, people involved and their backgrounds. Though he did not get to be a full-fleged Architect, he has inspired me to be one. And since my enrollement in Diploma of Architecture in NYP, learning and working with friends and lecturers broadened my perception of what architecture can be.

School Projects has allowed me to explore different mediums of design and visualization. They have also taught me the significance of each process. And that collaboration and proper work ethic is needed to do design. It takes more than an individual to create something of function and of meaning. Outside of schoolwork, i mainly love to do mix media art, drawing, Writing, Studying films, music and making music sometimes. Though these hobbies sound more like pleasure and entertainment. i believe it helps me hone my creativity and my story telling skills in design. They add value and dimensions to the finished project. i hope my internship will give me the exposure and experience to better my skills as a designer.
