2. Front Head

Maverick uses a temped and reinforced front head for durability. The fronthead is where the kinetic energy of the piston is being converted to the impact energy of the tool.

3. Piston

The piston draws the impact of the hammer as kinetic energy is converted to impact force. Maverick’s carbon martensite piston is super hardened for precision and severe service.

4. Cylinder

Maverick’s unique cylinder is built of super alloy which is dispersion hardened and quenched for ultra strength and durability. The cylinder is the core of the hydraulic breaker in which the Control Valve moves in accordance with the reciprocation of the piston.

5. Control Valve

Maverick’s precision reciprocating control valve is designed and built with tolerances of .0001 (+ - ) which maximize potential cycle energy and leverage the Hydraulic Power of the carrer. The control valve opens and closes the hydraulic oil circuit, controlling the ascending and descending movement of the Piston.

6. Accumulator

Maverick’s Eliptical Accumulator spreads changes in hydraulic pressure over a large surface area which disperses vector forces of hydraulic pressure. Less hydro forces mean less loads on both the hammer and carrier machine.

7. Back Head

Maverick’s backhead is fabricated from high tensile (Sy) Carbon alloy. Our backhead is designed and built to withstand extreme forces and remain inelastic. Its nitrogen charge drives the acceleration of the piston.

8. Through Bolt

Available Maverick Tool Types

Maverick’s through bolts are constructed of high-carbon steel and designed to withstand forces of .6GPA without stretching or breaking.It is one of the 6 most important parts of the breaker joining the main four parts of the breaker.
