PLANS: A grid is identified by an alphabetical system. General notes include information extraneous to the plans themselves. The legend describes graphically-respresented information. For example, materials, and electrical fittings. Some annotated information is not commonly graphically represented on plans, thus they need to be explained. Section symbol (top right): include an alphabetical reference and corresponding page. The arrow indicates the direction of the section.

Numbering of windows and doors is clockwise around the perimeter of the building. Numbers refer to detailed drawings. FFL = Finished Floor Level Clouding is a historical record of changes throughout the construction period. There are no clouded areas on this plan, as there have been no revisions.
