Re-Brief Design a game that contains your character and a board. This toy character will be controlled by an app through a smartphone or tablet. It will also have a camera so that through augmented reality you can see how the toy interacts with the board. While this toy character moves you can encounter questions, riddles and challenges that will appear on your device, all about education issues environmental. The future of boards games.

WANNA BE A HERO? LET’S BE ONE Every kid wants to be a super hero, they like to believe that everything is possible, that we can be strong and brave if we wish so. Being a super hero means that we have the courage to be the protector of humanity.

A MISSION TO SAVE THE WORLD We have a purpose now, to be the heroes for today and the future. To adventure, to play, to enter to a new world in order to complete the mission so you can save the our planet.

Accesories A personalization attribute was added to feed the creativity of the children so they can personalize their own hero and increase the sense of belonging. In this way the relationship between the game and the child gets bigger. Children can buy accessories such as masks, capes and markers where they can freely paint their hero's identity.

Barrio is a Spanish word for neighborhood. It aims to create a community within their residents. A very important part of this development is their amenities. I was assigned to design the terrace and include the urban Mexican context of the site. Note: All elements except from the rocking chairs and the dining chairs were designed by me.

La Cubeta which means bucket in english. Is a very simple object that in Mexican context has acquired different uses and its own identity over time. The bucket serves as : An object to save parking spots. Storage for other objects, such as tools, plants etc. As a method to transport something from a point A to a point B.

RESULT Considering the traditional and cultural character of this object (the bucket) in Mexico, especially in the still more traditional areas, the implementation of these is considered as part of the furniture of the Barrio W terrace, of course, adapting them to the requirements of current market design.

INSPIRATION - EL TENDIDO El tendido which means the result of drying your laundry outdoors, was taken of as a source of inspiration for the elaboration of the furniture placed in the resting and relaxation areas of the terrace. This types of arrangements are very common inside the urban landscape of neighborhoods in Mexico and Latin America.

RESULT A series of fabrics were used to create not only shade but also a place to seat, where either you can swing or be relaxed.

INSPIRATION- THE COOLER

40

It is very common also to see how the cooler is given extra uses, mainly as a table and an improvised seat. In a way, always being a centerpiece, where people gather around it or simply a nice welcoming for your neighbor to come over and hang out for a while.

RESULT A structure where you can easily rest your cooler so it can result in a more proper way to enjoy your time around it.

To permeate the concept of air and movement, the different ways of representing it are incorporated. 1. Static Representation 2. Organic Representation 3. Representation with Movement This seeks to find a way to make the concept tangible in space.

The presence of a brand in space is reflected in different ways. 1. With the use of the brand’s colors reflected on the space. 2. With brand communication in print and product display. 3. With an installation on the ceiling that through the air of fans comes alive.
