Your luxurious yacht cruise begins in St. John’s, where you’ll be transferred to your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht and embark on your discovery of the Eastern Caribbean, the British Virgin Islands and St. Barths.
Please book your flight to arrive into St John prior to 02:00 PM
Day 2 Barbuda, Antigua and Barbuda
Barbuda is part of a three-island state along with Antigua and the uninhabited island Redonda, located in the north-eastern Caribbean region. Barbuda is often described as Antigua’s sister island. Barbuda’s beaches, which are world-renowned, are miles long and are often sprinkled with pink sand. Barbuda is frequently referred to as one of the top destinations for independent travellers from all over the world, and today, it is yours to explore.
Day 3 Norman Island, British Virgin Islands
Norman Island, a privately-owned island, is part of the British Virgin Islands. However, this island still attracts many tourists and sailors who come for snorkelling, diving, hiking, or simply soaking in some Caribbean sun. There are rumours about the island’s piratical past, including its name coming from the famous pirate Norman. Norman Island’s caves are a fun place to go diving and explore – and who knows, perhaps you will find your very own treasure chest. Norman Island is indeed an idyllic escape from real life and a must-add stop to your exploration of the Virgin Islands.
Day 4 Jost van Dyke, British Virgin Islands
Jost van Dyke (which is barely four miles long) is an island widely known by travellers around the world for its casual lifestyle and beachfront restaurants and bars, as well as its protected anchorages and pristine beaches. Great Harbour is one of the main sights to see on the island, as it is sheltered by small mountains and offers a truly relaxed Caribbean feel. The local drink, the Painkiller, was born here – a frozen delight made from dark rum, pineapple juice an orange juice, with fresh nutmeg ground on top. Today you will enjoy a barbeque on shore together with your fellow travellers.
Day 5 Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
Virgin Gorda is the third largest and second-most populous of the British Virgin Islands. Columbus’ lieutenants named the island Virgen Gorda – or ‘the pregnant virgin’, as upon approaching the island from the north or the east, the outline of a pregnant woman lying on her back is visible on the horizon. Somehow uncrowded, Gorda Sound itself has recently blossomed into a busy place surrounded with resorts and vacation villas. Virgin Gorda is a beautiful island; an ideal jumping off point for an in-depth discovery of the Virgin Islands.
Day 6 Gustavia, Saint Barthélemy

Home to around 5,000 people, the village of Saint-Pierre was once almost wiped off the map in less than two minutes during an eruption of the Mount Pelée volcano in 1902. In more recent years, Saint-Pierre (also known as ‘Little Paris’) has been named as the 101st ‘City of Art and History’. A visit to Saint-Pierre will allow you to discover a few remnants of Martinique’s colonial history: the old theatre, the ruins of the island’s fort and the dungeon of Cyparis, as well as the wonderful site it is today, facing a gorgeous bay and leaning in the foothills of Mount Pelée.
Day 3 Port Elizabeth, Bequia Island, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The second largest in the Grenadines Island chain, and Bequia's main port, is Port Elizabeth. It is a tranquil and quiet destination built along a picturesque little bay with forested hills behind. The most popular sights in town are the open-air market, which gives a very 18th-century feel, as well as the Belmont Walkway known for the town’s best shops and restaurants along Admiralty Bay.
Day 4 Tobago Cays, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The Tobago Cays are an archipelago located in the southern Grenadines, famous for five small uninhabited islands: Petit Rameau, Petit Bateau, Baradal, Petit Tobac and Jamesby. This is an idyllic area to enjoy sand-bottomed and crystal-clear waters teeming with colourful fish and turtles.
Day 5 Mayreau Island, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Mayreau is the smallest of the Grenadines’ uninhabited islands, with a surface area of only 4 square kilometres (1.5 square miles). The population of Mayreau is no more than 250 people who live in the village on the island’s highest hill, Station Hill. The charming little church and community centre at the top of the hill provide spectacular views over the islands. On a clear day, one can see both Grenada and St. Vincent, as well as the nearby islands, showcasing the pretty colours of the reefs and waters around the Tobago Cays. Cruise information
Across the following pages, you’ll find more information about your yacht cruise experience along with helpful suite, stateroom and deck plans for our luxury yachts.
Life on the ocean
A luxury yacht cruise across the oceans of the world is like nothing else. As you sail along the iconic coastlines our yachts visit, our guide to life on the ocean is here to help you make the most of all that Mother Nature has to offer during your voyage.
Stabilization
While sea conditions are generally good in some of the regions our yachts visit, nature tends to have a mind of its own, and sometimes we might face rough seas. Emerald Cruises luxury yachts are each equipped with a pair of retractable fin stabilisers, meaning our yachts pitch and role as little as possible. This ensures maximum relaxation for our guests while on board, no matter the weather!
Aqua Pool & Marina Platform
Our luxury yachts each feature an infinity-style pool on the Aqua Deck, offering you great alfresco views as you swim under the sun. Each yacht also features a Marina Platform equipped with various water sports toys for our guests to enjoy. While we aim to offer these areas to our guests as often as possible, sometimes the local regulations, yacht traffic in the bay or weather conditions may restrict their use. During rough seas, the Aqua Pool will be drained to ensure the safety of our guests and crew, and our Marina Platforms will only be made available when our yachts are at anchor in calm waters.
Tender boats
To make the most of each of the countries our yachts travel to, sometimes our cruises will visit towns and cities where there is no docking facility for yachts of our size, and our yachts will anchor at sea nearby. In this case, our guests will be transported ashore on one of the three tender boats each of our yachts are equipped with. This is usually a short trip to the shore and enables us to take you right into the heart of the locations we visit.
Itinerary alterations
At Emerald Cruises, our destinations are meticulously chosen, and our itineraries planned with great detail to ensure all the ports we visit are accessible. However, in some rare cases, our yachts may not be able to visit a port as planned due to unforeseen factors such as bad weather. In these cases, our guests will be informed of any port diversions or alterations to our itineraries as soon as possible, and we will do our utmost to make sure your cruise is impacted as little as possible.
Staying connected at sea
While on board one of our luxury yachts, our guests have access to our complimentary standard Wi-Fi service, meaning you can stay in touch with friends and family back home and share all of the wonderful photos you take during your cruise. We also offer a Platinum Wi-Fi package for all of our guests’ streaming needs. While we offer internet services 24/7, our satellite connection can be impacted by a number of factors, such as bad weather, so signal may become weak at some points during your voyage.
Our commitment to your health & safety
Ocean terminology
We understand that sometimes it might seem as if seafarers are speaking their own language. We’ve made a guide so you’re familiar with all of the important lingo while on board one of our luxury yachts.
Anchoring Mooring a ship to the sea floor with an anchor Stabiliser A fin mounted to the yacht beneath the waterline to reduce vessel’s movement when facing rough sea conditions

Stern/Aft Towards the back of the yacht
Port/ Starboard The left or right side of a yacht respectively when facing forward
Nautical mile A maritime measurement of distance equivalent to 1.15 miles on land
