CONGRATULATIONS GROUP XIII! Written by Morgan Garner
TRIP conducts an annual board meeting in November to induct a new group of TRIP students. Usually, this board meeting takes place on one night for several hours and puts the TRIP applicants to the test through a series of fast-paced, rigorous table interviews. However, due to COVID-19 precautions, this was not the case. Instead, the board meeting occurred over the course of two days and in a completely virtual format. This took weeks of careful planning and coordination between TRIP staff. RTC (Reliant Trading Center) student workers, and the board members. On the evenings of December 15th and 16th, the TRIP applicants were put to the test and interviewed with the board members. After the meeting, 23 brand new TRIP students emerged to be part of the program. All their hard work paid off and the board meeting ran smoothly. Congratulations Group XIII students!
From a Student's perspective:
"It was truly a tough and strenuous process, but it's an experience I will never forget."
