The new Sponsorship Age

Sponsorship is no longer just about putting company logos on brochures or signs. Sponsorship is a powerful marketing tool that can provide good return on investment if it is developed with member interests in mind and with alignment to the partner’s business objectives.

This year, Master Builders ACT has been in discussions with many long-term sponsors about the reasons they sponsor and to learn more about what they want to achieve from investing with the Association. As a result MBA preferred or Premium Partnerships have been launched with inaugural partners Asset Construction Hire and Harvey Norman Commercial. Other partners including Boral, Village Building Co and St George Bank have also signed up to receive exclusive partnering rights across many award properties and member communication opportunities.

An example of premium partner benefits include: > MBA vehicle signage > Exclusive networking opportunities > Exclusive hospitality opportunities > Ownership of individual awards in Building Awards ie. Boral

Award for Civil Roadworks > Company messaging through MBA social media channels ie.

Meet our team, product trends > Discount on advertising in member communications > Opportunity to use MBA partner branding in all marketing communications > Holding member events at sponsor premises

Just to name a few.

No longer will sponsors receive the Gold, Silver or Bronze proposal which is a cookie cutter of the previous one. Sponsorship proposals will be bespoke, highlight the sponsors objectives and benefits will be tailored to assist in meeting those targets.

Ultimately sponsorship investment in the MBA should drive member experience and engagement. That means we should be working with partners to help our members grow their businesses and support them while they do.

There are a range of partnership opportunities available with the MBA across a range of channels.
