As Entrepreneurship Education Manager of VALNALÓN, a government agency commissioned to develop the region strategy on enterprise education in Asturias (Spain), Mónica Barettino is responsible for coordinate the Entrepreneurship Education department, promoting enterprise education throughout the education system up to university level and businessincubators, in Spain and in other countries. Her experience is related to the various actions included in Valnalón’s Programme for the Promotion of Entrepreneurial Culture:         

Develop enterprise skills and attitudes. Embed entrepreneurship in school curricula. Promote active, cooperative and project-based learning. Design new learning contents and methodologies. Provide support and specific training for teachers. Publish specific teaching resources on entrepreneurship Disseminate initiatives and innovative experiences Provide a more inclusive approach to entrepreneurship taking into account the economic, social, cultural and environmental dimensions. Work in close collaboration with the education community and with the relevant external stakeholders.

She is also responsible for organizing and implementing the various programmes of entrepreneurship education among young people and schools, not only in her region (Asturias) but in all Spanish and international territories in which Valnalón has implemented its methodology. She has a good experience in project management and team co-ordination, leading and being part of a team of 12 people. During 2013 she has managed a network of 843 schools, 1,260 teachers and 30,117 students distributed in 26 different countries.
