JOB OR BUSINESS ‘WHAT’S BETTER FOR YOUR BREAD & BUTTER?’

A job or business as a career have different tracks & in both areas of earning money you can get immediate success for yourself. What matters here is the attitude that is a huge necessity. However, something that needs to be kept in mind here is that the disciplines to do business & the criteria to do the job are two variables, i.e. different things, but both matter for your success.

How I did this in my own life is part of a very interesting journey of success which I have shared with you in my Autobiography, i.e. The Book of My Life. It's a fact that to achieve something in life, you have to worship a dream. It seems very simple. However, it's hard to worship a dream & before that, what's more vital is to see one. Like in the Islamic faith, there is a concept that either you shall see heaven after your life or hell. Most people would love to see heaven. Everyone wants that. But you have to die first, and for that, you have to prepare for your death. What counts here is the highly critical preparation part. Similarly, before doing business or opting for a job, it's important to prepare for that in advance.

The most prior or initial thing is to bring a dream or a thought into your mind & your life. You can't bring a change in your life unless there is a dream that you see or worship.

MAKE SURE WHAT YOU PLAN IN YOUR LIFE IS SOMETHING UNIQUE:

Before planning a business, ensure that the business idea you are planning is unique. What's true is that you have to

give a unique performance or something unique to succeed. Obviously, you can only be successful in life if your achievements are unique. You can't copy anyone. You need to plan every stage in your innings of success if you want it to be a long one. You can even select a mentor in life, but you still have to make your way as your mentor can only be a guide.

In my book, I have mentioned my journey & shared my thoughts with you in regards to why everyone wants to make money. However, if it's a dream for most people, you must dedicate a roadmap as a necessity and compilation of some unique ideas. It's the uniqueness that will make you different from others.

A MIDDLE-CLASS FAMILY BACKGROUND:

Coming from a middle-class family background didn't stop me from dreaming because the strength that my family gave me was education. My goal was to take my family somewhere, to a stage where my family is always distinguished from others. I also had a dream , where I had so much success in life and with that came every father's dream - Their son will grow up to be exactly like him.

At every step of my life, I took challenges and my wishes and dreams, either big or small became my challenges. Your wishes can take you up, however, what you need to do next is the most important thing. Ultimately, that's the fuel that drives your life's engine & makes you work hard, harder and finally, hardest.

It is all about earning your bread & butter in the best possible way. However, becoming a successful businessman was the hardest part that I had to accomplish. I made sure that whatever I do is unique & had the power of success. Born in Karachi, I started my career at DHA College & as a scientist at the National Institute of Oceanography. I needed more than the two jobs to make ends meet, but I still managed to make a name for myself. I also worked in a coaching centre and was a private tutor as well. In short, I worked 22 hours a day and that was no joke or a story.

I always kept myself busy & kept looking for opportunities & did scheduling & multi-tasking. As soon as I reached my threshold & got a degree, I applied to Canadian immigration. After getting to Canada, my challenges changed & I had to work harder. I started in the bedding business and eventually I opened Coffee Time (Coffee Shop) and later I established other businesses like ATM and POS and formed DMM and later a Call Centre.

I just wanted to create more & more opportunities for jobs for my people in Pakistan & my vision helped me create thousands of job opportunities in Pakistan. My aim in Canada was to protect my family & stabilize them as I always thought with unity of goals. I aligned my interests with my family's interests & later with the interests of the people I worked with expanded in the form of a protected bubble.

SOME KEY TIPS THAT WILL HELP YOU GAIN SUCCESS IN BUSINESS:

Some of the most important tips that will help you in business are as follows;

1. To become a successful businessman, start taking responsibility.

2. Always create a unique idea.

3. Be good to people around you

4. Don't be a greedy person

5. Be thankful to the creator at every step of your success in life while you move ahead.

6. Don't ever restrict your vision & your thinking as a businessman.

7. Always keep planning for options in the futur, let's say 10, 15 or 20 years.

Whatever you do, i.e. job or business, it has to be unique & and requires 100% of your effort. If from sharing my unique life experiences in business & practical life, I can change someone's thinking and life, that would be a huge accomplishment and a success story for me. Whatever you do, believe in yourself, as you need the power in your thinking to be successful.
