God made our bodies first, then he breathed into us (Genesis 2). There’s a holiness to the bodies God has given us. We have to take care of them because he called them very good.

“Do not throw your pearls before swine” (Matthew 7:6). I need to be careful how I utilize the things that I find precious; others may not share in what I view as precious. This also means that I must understand the context in which I use my words and my actions.

It is not enough to just go to church on a Sunday morning and wait for God to move. Worship requires engaging as actively as possible: singing the songs, praying the prayers, following along with the preaching (entering the Bible reading, taking notes, etc.).
