College counselling

We offer a Student Counselling Service to help you with any difficulties you may experience. This service is available to all students and is free and confidential.

Additional learning support

We are determined to create a community that positively welcomes diversity. We are a College for everyone and always ensure that we are open and inclusive for all students.

We aim to shape an actively inclusive culture which drives and sustains greater equality for all. Our staff are here to provide you with advice, guidance and support, whether you are a student with a sensory or mobility difference; a long-term medical condition, neurodiversity or a mental health condition.

Depending on your individual requirements, we can provide a range of services, including advice on applying for Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA) to cover the costs of any additional study support required.

Learning Resource Centre

We have a large Learning Resource Centre in the main building which is a quiet space for you to work. You’ll have access to bookable computers, over 23,000 physical books and a huge range of e-books too, to help you succeed in your studies!

Free loan laptop scheme

Our MC Click scheme provides you with a free loan laptop device! All HE students on Level 4 and 5 courses can access the scheme. MC Click is designed to assist you with your studies, supporting your learning and equipping you with the tools to succeed and develop your digital skills.

You will also have access to a College network account which will enable you to access course information, announcements, course handbooks, week by week resources and assignment information.
