English and maths at College

Your role:

All students will continue to study English and maths if they do not hold a GCSE 4 (C) or above, dependent on your child’s school grades, this will either be a GCSE re-examination, or Functional Skills. Don’t worry if your child didn’t enjoy these subjects at school, College is different and we often find that applying maths and English to subjects that they enjoy and are good at can make a real difference! It is very important that you help us reaffirm the importance of attending English and maths classes throughout the academic
