Medal winner Sonia has competed in over 7 Special Olympics.
She has won at least 400 medals.
She first competed at the Leicester Special Olympics in 2009.
She is still competing now.

Coaching means helping people to be better at sports.
When she can not take part in competitions she can still take part in sports.

Autism strategy launch We have a new autism strategy.
Autism Strategy
It tells people how we are going to support people with autism.
It tells people what we are going to do to make things better.
We had an event to launch the strategy.
People spoke about autism.
There was information about: •
positive behaviour support
•
language and technology
•
storytelling
•
involving people with autism.
People were entertained by DJ Chris’s disco and karaoke.
Chris is also a delivery assistant at Tuck by Truck.
