LANYARDS We are thinking of changing the colour of the student’s lanyards next year (2013/2014). There is a survey on the news section of Moodle for students to choose a preferred colour. We need as many students taking part in the survey as possible.
VINSPIRED VOLUNTEERING If you undertake any volunteering in or outside of college you may be eligible for a V Certificate. There will be a celebration evening in June where all students can collect their certificates. If you are a Course Rep and have attended divisional meetings and course meetings you will also be eligible for a V 10 Certificate as well as a Course Rep Certificate at the end of the year.

SEMINAR: IS HIGHER EDUCATION RIGHT FOR YOU? This event is aimed at 1st Year students on a Level 3 course. We will be welcoming a guest speaker from Chester University or Manchester Met University to present a 1 hour seminar looking at whether Higher Education is right for you. This seminar is designed to give students information on: - How HE Finance works - Is a Degree or Foundation Degree (FD) worth the money? - How to research courses (including our own FD Programmes) - What to do during summer to prepare for applying We plan to offer the following sessions: Tuesday 16th April

HIGHER EDUCATION FAIR AT SIR JOHN DEANE’S THURSDAY 25TH APRIL This exhibition gives students a chance to speak to Universities and some Employers about taking their next step. Mid Cheshire College have been allocated a visitor slot at 10.30am and coaches have been organised to take students from Winsford & Hartford Campus.
