Reserving Books Online MCC Library Central

Can I reserve books online? Yes! Go to the Library catalogue page: http://library.midchesh.ac.uk and click Use your normal network username and password to log in on the right hand side. You will now see your name appear and how many items you currently have on loan. Now perform your search, using either the Search or Guided Search facilities. You will see results something like these. They tell you what medium it is (book, DVD etc), where to find it on the shelves, which campus each copy is at, and whether they are currently available or on loan. Click the title to look at the book details, you will see something like: Look at the due date, and if you want to reserve the book just click and you will see the following Note that in this example, 3 copies are on loan, and one is available. The Library Central team will email your College address when a copy of the book is ready for you to collect.
NB if you want to pick the item up from a particular library, email to let us know what you have reserved and where you would like to collect it from.
