BARRACUDAS

BARRACUDA SWIM TEAM

Can you believe we are less than a month away from the beginning of summer swim season? We are in need of volunteers throughout the summer to make the meets run! So as we approach the season be prepared to volunteer! As all of you returning parents know the meet cannot run without volunteers. That means for your kids to swim you are needed to time, judge, scorekeeper, starter, take waters around to volunteers and HAVE FUN! We will have three home meets which are the meets we will need the scorekeeper, starter and hospitality runner. Before the season starts, we will have some training for scorekeeper and judges. As intimidating as judging sounds it is an easy position and you get a bird's eye view of the swimmers. We need to have 8 volunteers to take the judges class which will be announced at the beginning of the season. We have announced a NEW swim Coach- Coach Emily Cooke as you all will remember her from our swim meets last year. Emily will coach and swim in her events this summer as well for her final summer swim season. Coach Mac will also be assisting in the swim team this year and anyone who needs volunteer hours talk with the coaches to see how you can help out.

Registration for swim team is open and you can get the paperwork from Ashley. The suits are a green suit this year which will be used in 2022 and 2023, but are not required.

If you would like to be added to the Barracuda email list, contact Ashley Odom at aodom@brookvalleycc.com.
