Transition Readiness Seminar (TRS) In order to reduce potential risks and minimize the spread of COVID-19, TRS classes and additional training tracks (Pathways) are now virtual through the Learning Management System (LMS). Pre-Retirement Seminar This workshop is an alternative option to the TRS for retiring Service Members and covers recruiting, job market, and specific entitlements to include Financial and Estate Planning, TRICARE, Veteran Benefits, and Relocation. This seminar is offered virtually on the Learning Management System. Service Members are eligible to attend 24 months prior to retirement. For registration details, contact your Unit Transition Coordinator.

Department of Labor Employment Workshop The 2-Day Department of Labor Employment Workshop (DOL-EW) is available to meet the congressionally mandated requirement for those who seek employment after separating or retiring from the military. The DOL-EW curriculum is designed to assist Service Members with their transition into high-quality civilian careers. The track will assist in identifying and developing career goals, understanding hiring methods, creating a professional introduction, and a draft resume. This course is virtual and requires registration in advance to attend.

Managing My Education The 2-Day Managing Your Education workshop is designed to guide you through a variety of decisions involved in choosing a career, degree program, college institution, admissions as well as how to fund your education using the GI Bill, FAFSA, scholarships and more.

Boots to Business The Small Business Administration (SBA) provides a live virtual workshop to deliver the Entrepreneurship Track-“Boots to Business” (B2B). This two day introductory course is available to Service Members and their spouses/adult family members. This workshop provides valuable assistance to those who are exploring self-employment opportunities. The course provides the key steps for evaluating business concepts and the foundational knowledge required for developing a business plan. Vocational Training Tack (VoTech) The 2-day vocational track (VoTech) is designed to assist Service Members in identifying certifications and credentials needed for their career interests.
