BUILDING CORPORATE FACILITIES McDonald York Building Company specializes in providing general contracting services to corporate clients and routinely contracts services over a long period of time. In these long-term relationships, instead of negotiating a new contract each time services are required, we utilize a Master Services Agreement. Future agreements spell out more specific details such as scope of work, delivery requirements and might require only a purchase order. McDonald York provides ongoing. design-build repairs and upgrades at several SECU Facilities throughout North Carolina to update buildings constructed in the 1970’s. McDonald York has completed site assessments, created scopes of work and continuously provides open-book, competitive pricing. Renovations included infrastructure upgrades, new roofs, new interiors, updated facades and mechanical and electrical upgrades. Careful coordination of construction activities is crucial as locations remained occupied and operational.

From 1993 to 2018, McDonald York constructed and/or renovated numerous high quality, state-of-theart office and laboratory spaces on GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) 1.7 million square foot, 20 building campus in Research Triangle Park, NC. In 2018, Karlin purchased the campus and buildings from GSK and commenced Parmer RTP, a repositioning of the site and leasing of the buildings. McDonald York was selected as the general contractor to construct a suite of world-class amenities, a parking deck, new surface parking and multiple interior construction projects.
