Where’s Hettie? Want to earn a V.I.P. Pass to Operation Ball Gown? Come join us for the upcoming game “Where’s Hettie”. Who is Hettie you ask? Hettie is our Operation Ball Gown dress model. Every Monday clues will be announced on the MCAS MCFTB and MCRD MCFTB Facebook pages as to where Hettie is located. HINT: This place will be a resource entity located on MCAS and MCRD. After reading the clues, you must go out and about to locate our Operation Ball Gown friend, Hettie. Once you have found her, take a picture with Hettie and post it back to the correct Facebook page with a small description of the resource. Please feel free to be as creative as possible but be sure to follow the event rules below.
EVENT RULES 1. 2 winners from each Facebook Page will be chosen. If a group decides to take a picture together, the person who submits the picture to the Facebook page will be the winner. 2. The “best picture” will win. Pictures will be voted on by participants who visit our Facebook pages. The two pictures with the most “likes” will be that week’s winner. 3. No Foul Play to Hettie! Pictures must be creative, clean, and appropriate. Hettie MUST remain dressed in her ball gown attire. Inappropriate pictures submitted to Facebook will automatically be disqualified and removed from the Facebook page. 4. Participants can post their pictures on the MCAS MCFTB and MCRD MCFTB Facebook pages Monday thru Wednesday. Pictures must include Hettie in her ball gown at the resource in which she is located. 5. All pictures will be moved into a picture album for voting at 0800 on Thursday morning. Voting will take place on Thursday morning starting at 0830 and voting will close the following morning at 0800. Winners will be selected by the most “likes” in the photo album and will be announced on Friday by close of business. 6. Winners will receive a “V.I.P. Pass” into Operation Ball Gown on September 8, 2014. 7. The “V.I.P. Pass” will grant you access into Operation Ball Gown without waiting in any lines (think of it as a front of the line pass).
Contest starts on 4 August and runs through September 5 th. For questions, please contact Ashley McCartney at 228-1663 or mccartneyam@usmc-mccs.org.
