Legacy Scholarships

Scott Fancher knows that Washington University has contributed to many successful careers in industry and research for generations of college students. The university’s history makes it a true national treasure of higher education. Scott and his family are honored to help support this invaluable educational experience and ensure it remains available to future generations. Scott retired from Boeing as the senior vice president of program management, integration and development programs after 40 years of service. He earned a master of science degree in electrical engineering in 1984 and an MBA in 1992 from WashU. Scott serves in a leadership role as the chair of the Seattle Regional Cabinet. He and his wife, Kim, are Life Eliot Fellows and reside in Seattle, Wash.

Created through the generosity of sponsors who are no longer living, these scholarships are held in perpetuity for the purpose of providing financial aid to students in the McKelvey School of Engineering according to the donor’s wishes.
