WHY MCNEESE? Here are just a few reasons to make McNeese your first choice ...
Experiential Learning: Graduate students in McNeese?s MSN program spend, depending on their concentration, between three and four semesters in preceptored clinical settings working with experienced nursing faculty, advance practice nurses and physicians in real-world settings.
Advanced Facilities: McNeese?s clinical simulation lab on campus includes medical mannequins, models, charts, assessment equipment and supplies and gives students the opportunity to practice procedures such as physical assessment in a clinical setting. In addition, students can utilize an online software program that provides standardized patient scenarios to develop diagnostic and assessment skills.
Networking Opportunities: McNeese?s graduate nursing program is part of Louisiana?s Intercollegiate Consortium for a MSN, which enables MSN students access to networking opportunities with partner schools throughout Louisiana. Students have the opportunity to attend the South Louisiana Intercollegiate Nursing Research Day and the McNeese Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Learn at Your Own Pace and From Your Own Home As a McNeese graduate nursing student, you will enjoy the flexibility of a fully online degree while you still receive the full support of the Department of Graduate Nursing?s faculty and staff and McNeese?s advanced facilities.
