Scholarship opportunities are available to firsttime graduate students who may qualify for acceptance to the university with at least a 3.00 GPA. The awards are available for a maximum of four regular semesters and award amounts may vary depending on GPA, program of study and enrollment status. Students are encouraged to apply early as funds are limited. Scholarships also include a waiver of the out-of-state fee (if applicable). GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS: Graduate assistantships (research, teaching, administrative) are available in many McNeese departments and offices and are typically selected and employed by these areas. Hourly wages, partial tuition exemption and a waiver of the out-of-state fee (if applicable) are available for these positions.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: To apply for financial aid, you must complete the 2021-2022 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) starting October 1, 2020. The priority date for 2021-2020 is May 1, 2021.
