Jody said having extra kitchen space was one thing people could not live without. “Whether it’s pot drawers, wine racks, a pantry area or an island bench, that’s where people spend extra money.”
“There’s a couple different options to do that and it keeps your bench nice and clean, hiding power points when they are not in use.” She said there were always new trends available to suit any home. “Your home is up to your imagination. “If your budget doesn’t extend to the grandeur of your vision, it doesn’t mean you can’t have it. “Set it up in the planning phase to implement at a later time.”
One style that’s standing out among the rest in the kitchen is the country Hampton look, featuring ceramic inset sinks.
Jody said current trends showed people were building and renovating for their own use rather than a future homeowner.
Another new trend Jody has noticed are pop-up power points in kitchen benches.
“A lot more people are building the house that’s completely theirs, where they will grow old in.”
